A local shop has the guide for OoT sitting at $17.99...it's in pretty good condition...should I snag it before someone else does or is this a little too much?  Thanks.

They also have Mega Man Legends the actual game for $35...good?

Ok, thank you for your help.  I am not to good at knowing if a price is worthwhile or if it's a rip.  I'm pretty new to this collecting stuff.  So, thanks.  I'll pass on it.

It has a different cover than those ones.  Maybe it's not an offical one?  It has a weird brown background and link swinging his sword.  i dunno.

Sounds like it might be the Perfect Guide. It has a brownish background and Link swinging a sword.
Is it this? http://www.amazon.com/The-Legend-...

Anyway, they seem to usually go for 20-30$. The real question on worth is what the value is to you. If your goal in collecting is to get the best price ever, then no, don't get it. If your goal is to get things that you like at whatever the cost, then maybe you should. How badly do you want it?

I wouldn't go more than $8-10; Versus guides tend to be more like supplements of kooky factoids than anything. Like "Ooo, you can unlock secret developer content on your Resident Evil 2 Demo Disc with Gameshark."

That night the Captain’s granddaughter
Would celebrate her birthday
“I’ve come a long way,” said the Captain,
“From Lost Christabel this night.
Accompanied by my dog familiar,
To blast your rafters with my surprise.
Granddaughter, It’s a foreign mirror
Taken from the jungle by crime!”
