Thought some other people might find this helpful

Made myself some boards to help in repairing NES or SNES games.  With these boards you can convert your NES or SNES mask ROMs to the JEDEC standard so it can be read with a standard EPROM programmer.  I wanted to be able to check the ROM CRCs against the BootGod DB and this was cheaper than a CopyNES.

I made 3 boards

Got adaptors for NES PRG, NES CHR, and MMC5 or SNES 8Mbit

Here are links to the projects on OSH Park

Just need some headers and ZIF sockets

And here is a video I made putting them together and dumping some ROMs

Tested UNROM, MMC1, MMC3 on the PRG board, I dumped 128k, 256k and 512k ROMs.  Think AOROM should work but did not have any to test.
I used Kirby's Adventure in the video because it uses a 512k PRG and 256k CHR

Thanks MrPete1985, I was thinking about dumping a non working cart that I have and got as far as desoldering the PRG chip but didn't knew how to dump it.

MrPete1985 or anybody who orders from OSH Park care to sell me a set? I don't want to order 3 sets (minimum order), also I got an address in the US

yeah maybe we can do a group buy or something.

@mrpete would that mmc5 adapter work for 4mb/8mb SNES mask roms?

Kinda, the chips that are larger than 8mbit are DIP36 instead of DIP32. What you could do is dump the ROM in parts by adding wires to A20 and A21 and manually wiring them to GND or VCC.

You could dump the ROMs in 4 parts then stitch them back together using the command prompt.
