These are the newest additions to my collection.  Obviously Contra will be the favorite here.    Its my  favorite of the two by far and I can tell you for a fact that i'll never get rid of it.  Altered Beast is cool too though, especially since it was one that I played a lot back in the day. 

I REALLY want Bionic Commando and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles next as those were always my favorites.  So, if anyone can help me get my hands on either one of those two I would appreciate it!

The Contra is a blast, and its a little different than the NES version so its really cool. I dont know if all Altered Beasts were left handed or not... Its a conversion done from a kit, and im not sure if they were ever released in a dedicated cabinet or not? It is weird getting used to the controls. I have though about modding that one if I keep it and one of the mods would include switching those around.

And yeah Dane you should definately stop by! I'll hopefully have more games by then too.

I set it on easy and played through it my first try, so I need to set it back to normal at least. It only gives you 3 continues no matter what. The levels are much shorter than the NES version too.

Nice score dude. I got a TMNT cab not too long ago and I play it often. I am looking to pick up 2 more cabs eventually as that is what I have space for. I would like to get the Simpsons, AVP, or maybe something like MK2. I don't know exactly what I will end up with. I would also like a classic like Popeye or something.

I`ve played contra arcade once, I think it was set on the hardest level, because it wasn`t fun at all........

But I would think it`s better then the NES`s, and the NES`s is a VERY good of a game...

Ok so heres the newest addition - I got this last night... its not going to stay Magic Sword though, unfortunately.  Its a really cool game BUT I was searching for a cabinet to convert to Bionic Commando and got lucky enough to find this locally for a nice price, and it works!  Im 99% sure this is the same cabinet that they used for Bionic Commando so when the rest of  my parts arrive we'll know for sure.  Of course, its jamma so I can always plug Magic Sword back in and play it anytime. 

I also made a deal on another game I should have soon but I'll keep it a mystery until I get it home and have pics.
