To be honest, I expected this game to be a lot worse but it's pretty fun.  As a fan of collect-a-thons, I enjoyed it despite being easy.  Also, for good measure, here's a picture of the credits, even though they only play through the options menu:

Finished Virtual Pool 64 today as well!



I like this game but the control stick either jumps around so fast you can hardly control it or so slow it takes forever to get where you want it to.  Still a cool game though.

Waialae True Golf Classics is done.



This game was quite hard at first since it really penalizes you for missing the second accuracy bar by a hair (cutting 200+ yard tee offs to 40) but once I turned on easy shot I did a lot better.

I also won all 10 games on Golden Nugget 64.






Definitely a game my wife would love to play as she's a fan of gambling games (she plays Super Ceasars Palace a lot) and we can actually play together.

I got 3 medals in Tony Hawk 2, but didn't actually get credits until I got 3 golds. So I'll update that one.

What an amazing first post -- welcome aboard! It's so great to have someone beating the whole library on board; I hope you keep posting as you beat more games.

It looks like this could be a huge shot in the arm for the N64 effort, akin to when TMR joined the NES effort back in 2016 (which made a big difference).

Zounds! You've been very busy. That's a neat undertaking, and a great track record if you beat 130 games last year, and this list already in 2018. I went ahead and marked those games off the list (the ones that hadn't already been beaten); it's great to have all those sports games marked off. Check back as you make your way through the N64 library, and if you happen to take a photo of the ending to a game, we'd love to see it!

Taking out dem sports games, I don't mind at all! xD

I checked out a couple of your videos, do you play on a real N64 or do you emulate? I only ask because of Gauntlet Legends. I've never been able to successfully emulate it on anything.

Everything is on hardware by means of an EverDrive. So I do not own every copy.
Those Emulators don't work well with some games. The N64 Emulator I would suggest is Project64. Not flawless, but so far the best I know and used when I'm on the road.

I have checked the rules, made by you guys, that I have posted as finished. My ruleset is somewhat different.
My N64 challenge is mainly to get credits or "the end" text on screen (Just like you mentioned in the thread), however... I do this by any means possible (Game Shark/Cheatcodes forbidden!!! Password only if it is obtained by gameplay and not by searching on the web)
I do not make a difference between a good or bad ending (However winning a championship is seen as beating the end boss, thus required for the game to end) However, if some games still give you the credits (e.g. 2nd overall in Mario Kart 64) I do consider this as beaten. Just trying to say that I DO aim to get credits or "the end" text on screen, but the options and methods are 100% adjustable. Also any trick/glitch learned while playing the game will be used.
For those vague games without an ending, I just use commen sense.

Very linear, straightforward game.  Kind of meh overall but not bad either.

Triple Play 2000 is also done!



Kind of meh, especially compared to Slugfest but not a bad baseball game overall.

My UltraHDMI N64 came in, so gonna be playing some more this week! Ohhhhh yeeeaaahhh.

How does the Everdrive 64 perform? If I wanted to grab one while I build my collection, will I run into any compatibility issues? I'd love to participate in this, but I haven't started my 64 collection yet.

ED64 2.5 runs every game except Animal Forest and Pokemon Stadium 2. It also requires you to press reset so that your saves are stored to the SD card.
Version 3 runs every game, and does not need the reset press.

Awesome - thanks. Bought an Everdrive v3. Hopefully it arrives in a normal amount of time so I can join this! Lots of my favorite games haven't been touched yet!

Finished up Gex 64 yesterday, 100%! Getting started on Gex 3 now...
