Yeah I tried that but it still seems too tight. With enough ammo to sink three ships, and three rams, you'd have no ships left, which Im unsure if it would give you victory or not. And at least one always gets sunk before it can ram. And the enemy is split into groups of three so one of your ships would need to sink one, double back across the map, and ram another, all within 20 rounds.

Ill probably try to find a longplay tonight

Brock, is there anyplace to restock supplies? I definitely remember there were at least two missions that looked impossible until you figured out the twist -- but I don't remember whether the twist in that one was restocking, ramming, some combination of the two...

Oh, BTW, I'm about 80% sure that you do win if you sink the enemy's last ship, even if your own is sunk too. So it is a viable strategy!

I'll try it again tonight (my son is currently chopping some bushes in LttP). I really hate giving up on games when I'm 95% done, but this game sucks

Well, just spent all night on Toy Story, and didn't quite get to the end. Fucking brutal. How the hell were kids supposed to beat that shit? I guess playing it every day for months until you have every single thing memorized

Is the SNES Toy Story the same as the Sega version? I have beat Toy Story on Genesis as a kid, and RC car and boss levels are just patern memorization. Toy Story is a lot like Lion King in that respect.

Finished the DQII part of Dragon Quest I & II back on 9/9.

Should've done my research beforehand, but I ran into a glitch with the fan translation (it's a documented issue). Thankfully, my gameplay was not affected because my Prince only had a 4 character name? I got real worried for a bit.

I finally beat Tecmo Super Baseball on the emulator today during chemo, so I couldn't take a picture of it. I beat it with Toronto. I may be done for the year with this sadly.

Shoot, Bea, another round of chemo?   Very sorry to hear that. Seems like so many people I know are in that boat lately...

Yeah, a day before I celebrated the 5th anniversary of beating melanoma the biopsy for a nodule on my trachea came back as malignant.
So here we are again. Today was the 3rd round of chemo. 5 more to go and hope that it will be enough to kill it off.

I may adapt Splain's format next season, just to make things easier on myself. Just too many posts to update.

Also, updated.

I packed all my stuff up about 2 weeks ago in anticipation of moving so Dungeon Master will have to wait until late this year or next year.

Moving in winter? Yikes. Are you getting relocated by the Circumlocution Office?

Come on now, the Circumlocution office would never relocate anyone! I'm going to Russia to try to sell my inventions there.

Couple things happening:

1 - I'm working on getting the 2019 thread up (but locked) in the next day or two since I will be in Atlanta until New Years
2 - I'm not sure about my exact schedule so I may need another "scorekeeper" like Bea or Stryphos to assist in doing any updates for the first day or two if they happen to be around and willing
3 - I am going to be switching some things up next year in the interest of making this thing easier to maintain. That may mean temporarily changing the point system up to match what N64 did (basically, a simpler formula)
4 - I am changing up how the information is displayed next year to, again, give myself less work to do.
