The team was just out of gas at the end, but that was still a pretty bad chokejob to let up the second goal. Bruins outplayed them much of the game and then can't hold on at the end, and worse, give up another before OT.

Oh well, congrats to Chicago.

I'm goin nucking Futs, and the neighbors prolly think I'm crazy!!!!

I think this game says more of how magic Chicago is, than anything about the Bruins, or what they did in the last few seconds. Bruins have a great team, but Chicago was a team of destiney this year.

I've followed the Hawks, right from the start of this year, and they pulled out some amazing wins, to keep the initial streak going to start the season off, and just like tonight----> Basically they just did what they always do, pull out some crazy f-ing wins.

I knew they were down with a few minutes to go, and didn't suprise me at all that they tied it up; and then they just kept it coming.

Anyway, what a way to cap off on amazing year! Hawks fan's celebrating everywhere!

(I've been saving lucky post 10,000 for something special! I think this qualifies)

Bergeron played tonight with a broken rib, torn cartilage, and a separated shoulder.

Didn't get to watch it because our power has been out all day. I was listening on the radio on the way home from a friend's house and they tied it. I told my wife I was going to find a bar with power to watch ot. No sooner did I say that, they scored again. I guess I didn't have enough faith in the scoring twice in 15 seconds. Congrats Hawks! I'll have to catch a replay.

Fantastic end to the season. Chicago was the real deal after that regular season. This is what they did all year though, they'd be down in games but they'd come back. Even when they were down 3-1 to Detroit there was still a lot of confidence they'd win the series. The best team in the NHL this year won the cup, can't ask for much more than that.

I've been watching TSN for updates on injuries. Bergeron had a broken rib, torn cartilage, and a separated shoulder, still played. This is why hockey is the best sport in the world, guys give it their all to win.

Glad it's a short offseason, can't wait for next year!

And here's Shaw, he was bleeding the whole celebration.

Well said.  I love being one of the lone hockey fans in LA.  I got one high five today wearing my hawks jersey!

I'm resisting making a comment about the Sedin sisters and the rest of the Vancouver diving team...

It was crazy here after the game. Glad I don't live on a major street...

Aw c'mon dude.   I appreciate that you support the canucks but the hawks earned it, are a good team and a heck of a lot better than we were this year, and a worthy rival too.     Nice win by the hawks.

Congrats to the Hawks for winning 2013 Stanley Cup. Totally deserved, they were THE BIG TEAM from the start off of the short season, and made up to it by reversing 3-1 against Detroit, and turning that game into a Stanley Cup wins in 18 seconds near the end.

Congrats to the Bruins as well, they had a terrific playoffs run. Coming back from 4-1 in 3rd period vs Toronto was an incredible proof of character. They swept the firepower of the Penguins, and limited them to only 2 goals, which is quite a feat as well. Nothing to be ashamed here.

I was watching it at a bar here in Chicago... we weren't done cheering for the game tie-er when the game winner went in... cray cray as the kids say.

Bergeron not only played with a broken rib, torn cartilege, and a separated shoulder, but he played with a freaking hole in his lung!

That's insane!

Bergeron's hospital bill is gonna be as large as the Blackhawk's bar tab. He was already one of my fav players and this just cements it.

Also a good reason why i'm so partial to teams with a pile of Canadians.

Speaking of the 90s I think we're rapidly heading towards a rerun of the messier years with the three ring circus this team is starting to become.

Canucks didn't get enough for Schneider, but they drafted really well. Horvat and Shinkaruk are very good players that will be on the team in the next few years.
