Glad to see these started again! And what a game and ruleset to start with!

I'll need to brush up to stand a chance this week. The one-life thing can be brutal when you have decent runs going but make stupid mistakes (e.g. my first two runs this evening...). I need to finally master that turtle-step thing. I remember trying to master this technique a few years back and failing miserably.

Nice! Having the title screen of the game as a header for the leaderboard was a pretty awesome idea in its own, so it will be cool to see what else you come up with.

I doubled the Pika-power this year, and it seems to be paying off already. No turtle tipping either. I could never do that as a kid. I was honestly just hoping to break 400k, so I'm more than happy with this score.

Was the last one NOT 1-life? If so, you can pretty much max out the score with a LOT of patience at a particular place I have in mind (5-1). I did this some time in 1995 when my SNES was out of commission and my score blew my friend out of the water.

Really? *checks front page* Dangit. I missed that detail. Well, at least my score wasn't all that great. I'll just have to try again from home later today.

The paragraph at the bottom of the first post threw me off, because it specificed needing the entire monitor in the pic if using an emulator. My brain kicked the "no emulators allowed" part out when it saw that, I guess. My bad.
