A friend and I were just talking about this display the other day. It was listed about a year ago, and featured on gamesniped. I think it sold for a mere $95. Both my friend and I were going to bid on it, but, we both got sidetrack so it seemed.

Anyways, nice ebay snag. Seems it hasnt been in your hands long

Item #7 N64 Era Kirby Display. Falling in line with the last post, I decided to cap it off with this N64 Display advertised Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. I admit it is not as cool as the NES Era one, but I thought I would share for comparisons sake. Enjoy!

Hey guys!
I just wanted to let everyone know I had NO IDEA I had any messages. But thanks to Ghost of Starman, I realized I have some. I will try to respond to everyone. For reference sake MOST of the items I list are not for sale; as I said they are very rare and have taken me years to acquire. I am a poor, poor college student, so if the offer is right I may be willing to listen. THANKS - Mike

Item #8 Burger Time Promo Hamburger Piece of Gum. Yes, you heard right a piece of gum from the 1980's shaped like a Hamburger; in a Hamburger 'box' with Burger Time written on top. If you were wondering....it is as hard as a rock! Enjoy!

I'd chew it

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Let's start with the view of the top of the Burger Time box as requested (notice there are a few other rare arcade promo items mixed in there as well....we will call that a freebie shot):

Item(s)#9 Nintendo Power Folders. I am sure we all remember Trapper Keepers and trying to have the coolest folders in school. Well here are some of the best; in the form of Mario Folders and Mario/Link Folders. I have 45 total. But here is a view of just one of each. ENJOY!

Well my friends! The time has come...

This is part "recent find" thread + part "my awesome collection" thread (at least for the moment)

You can all imagine my excitement when while I was doing my mundane Ebay "normal" searchin and I stumble across a diamond in the rough. It was poorly listed (slightly), merely labeled Nintendo Display, and listed for less than an hour. I saw and bought it in < 30seconds; I checked the pertinent info - product pics, correct info, working, good seller, FREE SHIPPING! MINE ALL MINE!

The price $300.00. Shipped to my doorstep via UPS. Insured.

Drum roll please...

Item # 10: Nintendo M82 Store Display

And 12 (common) games included is a nice perk.

It is in perfect condition and a thing of beauty...

Hey Guys! Sorry for the sabbatical; school work has been killing me!

Anyhow! If you take the time to look through the thread you will notice I posted a few additional pics of the same items (essentially different angles); with that some of your quotes may be messed up. ENJOY!

Keeping to my promise to show off some great items that many may have not seen before, here I go...

Item #11: Mario Bros Dish Set(Complete/New); circa 1989
Now many have seen the pieces individually or even perhaps loose in a set, but most have not seen it NEW in the box. I got this about 4-5years ago at a flea market for $1 (I know big spender. Enjoy!

Great price and great piece! I was looking at some old auctions a few days ago and found a sealed set of the Zelda one that went for $40 (which some auctions have had just the plate hit for over $200)

The NIB Zelda set actually sold less than a year ago for around $650 actually. A full set can reach around $215 loose.

I finally have a complete zelda set now However, I thought a longer slender cup came with the set? Guess I have to find out how this other cup came...hmm...
