the rule i go by is ALMOST anything in a double case is worth 20. to sell. but most of them are more like 40+ for the roleplaying.

I'm not sure I would recommend that rule of thumb to a beginning hunter.

Does the value of $550 sound right for this lot?

I came up with about.... $435. I'm not so good with PS1 numbers. Seems about the median
or better on ebay sales though.

Arc The Lad Collection $40-50
Star Ocean $20-25
Tactics Ogre $100
Ogre Battle Limited Edition $35
Worms Armageddon $10
Worms World Party $10
Alundra 2 $8-$10
Threads of Fate $20
Spyro Collector's Edition $45-50
Galaga $4-5
Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete $40-45

Final Fantasy XII (Collectors edition, Sealed) $50
Ratchet Deadlocked $10
Rachet & Clank: Going Commando (GH version) $10
Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves $5

I'd say Arc and Lunar should go up $10-$15 or so, Tactics down in the $80 range and Spyro in the $30-$35 range.  Just estimates of course

If Lunar Eternal Blue has ALL of the fixings, it's more like a $75 game when minty.

???

I dont know if I would live by that rule.  Most of those rpg's are popular, but not rare.

Thats a bad rule to go by . There are plenty of double case games that are worth next to nothing.

Wow!!! I had no idea the spyro collector set was that high. I remember when I could pick those up all day sealed at my buddy's store. I'll have to double check that today.

I looked closer at the Ratchet Deadlocked and theres a chip of wood inside the seal . Im flabbergasted as to how that chip of wood got inside! The seal is completely intact so im thinking it happened at the factory.

Off topic, but since I've seen the word "minty" used a few times in this thread, I'm curious to understand what you guys mean by that. I'm gonna assume you don't mean actually mint, since it's pretty rare for anything to be in that condition. So, are minty and near mint interchangable? What's the deal? What's up with this word?

im not really much of an expert compared to many other users here on na, but the gist that i got is that mint and near mint a different things. mint is a 10/10 or really dam close to that. near mint is and 8 or a 9.

they are actually not that hard to find common mint games. im a cart only collector but still have a couple CIB's that are flawless and only worth around 30 or 40 bucks. my rad racer isnt even worth that.

Yeah, I understand the difference between mint and near mint. My question is "what does minty mean"? I suppose it's pretty easy to find near mint carts, but the only way I'm calling it MINT is if there isn't a single discernible flaw (even a small, light scratch would stop me from calling something mint). I dunno, I just know some people who throw around the word mint waaaaay too much, and I feel like it's in danger of losing its meaning.
