6/28/16:
Alrighty folks, a bit of an update.
Most of the LEs are packed and ready to ship tomorrow.
The only exceptions are #1 and #2 (I need to paint them when I have time this weekend), #4 (waiting on the rom with the custom message), and the two guys that still haven't paid me.
Also, there are leftovers from of the Too Many Games run. I will be selling these to members here, if there is interest, for the show price plus shipping ($60, + $7 for priority flat rate).
Comes with custom box, label, instruction manual, and zelda themed EPROM stickers (TMG theme was zelda this year), dust sleeve, styrofoam block, and box protector.
Let me know in the thread or via PM if you want one (I'll eventually put the offer up in the FS thread)!
6/7/16:
As mentioned yesterday, the rest of the LE supplies arrived. That means that as of today, the LE auction is ready to launch! It will most likely start some time tomorrow and follow a similar format to the 1007 Hammers/Bolts auction. Pretty much the one bid format, but those who bid within the first 24 hours will be rewarded with a second bid to be used when they feel necessary.
Anyway, enough of the babble... Take a look at what is to come in these LEs! A lot of time and thought went into them, so I hope you will all be pleased.
Each ammo can will have a different camo pattern (with cart backs painted to match)... all of the IDs will have different war/badass related heroes on them... the dogtag USB drive will be loaded with extended .wav files of the games music, an old version of the game with two deleted tracks, and another surprise.
Oh, and did I mention that the top two bidders will be able to select their own custom camoflage colors?
... and that the LE has 4 exclusive backgrounds that will not be in any other version?
... and that there will be 1 exclusive music track that will not be in any other version?
... and that the winners will be able to put their own custom message in the options screen?
5/19/16:
Well play testing has mostly come to an end, equipment to assemble the boards has arrived, and the game is confirmed to run on a real board with real hardware, so I guess what I'm saying is....
UXO is slated to be released in the next few weeks.
The timeline is as follows:
LE auction started in 2-3 weeks (16 or so available)
Too Many Games edition will be released and sold at TMG '16 (50 available)
RE to be released some time between these released (looking at 100 available)
4/4/16:
Development of the game has come a long way in very short period of time! One of our fantastic team members produced this awesome trailer, so please enjoy! More details to come soon.
3/4/16:
Since I'm sure most of you get the gist of what the game will play like, I thought I'd post a few pics of what the packaging will be like. I am planning on having about 16 Limited Editions up for auction, similar to how I did my last release.
The LEs will have all sorts of neat packins and stuff, but the real substance will be the camoflaged ammo can cases and cart shells (complete with their own mini UXOs).
Every LE will have its own unique paint job (some will just have solid colors which can be kept as it, or camoflaged by the owner). I will take some better pictures, in the future, but I just wanted to give everyone a slightly better of idea of what's to come.
2/29/16:
Greetings everyone!
The purpose of this thread it to announce a new homebrew title that has been in the works: UXO!
What is UXO, you may ask? It's a military themed, NES homebrew version of a popular game you might remember from most iterations of a popular computer operating system.
If that's too vague for you, here are a few screen grabs from a beta build to give you a better idea:

Also adding to the mix (pun partially intended) is our very own zi! He is providing some dope beetz for the game, and let me tell you... they are way mad dope, yo (or whatever the kids say nowadays)!
Anyway, watch this thread for more information on progress, questions, and tentative release specifics/timeframes!
