I don't know how Romo always manages to get hit at these weird angles all the time. Prescott looks like he could be a bus driver for this team if Romo does go down with injury this year. Super Bowl chances go with Romo. But the future of the team seems to be going with Prescott.

Maybe my Bengals can get a playoff win this year. Although, I'd like to see a clean win; not the disgraceful act they put on the field in last year's wildcard.

Maybe, but I think they may take a step back this year. At least they'll be better than my 49ers who will be lucky to win 6 games.

And on the hometown team front....Dak Prescott looked impressive against Seattle's first team defense. He hung tough under pressure and blitzes and made some really nice throws. I know Dallas was looking to trade up in the draft to get one of the bigger name quarterbacks and wasn't able to,but they may have found a real gem with Prescott. Time will tell and it's a small sample size, but he's looked really impressive so far.

After the game romo says hes fine

The day after romo and dallas said he was fine and he wasnt injured

Now pro football talk says 6-10 weeks ... Wtf. Ugh season over before it started. One of the most unlucky teams of the last decade. Weird ass injury after fluke ass injury. Atleast its a broken bone(probably small fracture) and not a disc problem

I was telling my brother the other day I had a feeling Prescott may play a good portion of the season and now I hear this. Seriously,Romo should just retire. He's near the end of his career anyway and he's piling up the injuries. If this keeps up,he's going to be on a walker in ten years. Hang 'em up Tony, you've had a good career.

And in 49ers news,I really hope San Francisco cuts Colin Kapernick. What he did was garbage and the team doesn't need the distraction. If he wants to do something for that cause,he chose the absolutely wrong way to go about it. Focus on your job bro...something you have been doing extremely poorly the last few years. I hated Alex Smith, but at least he didn't implode like Kapernick has. Time to move on from this head case.

This injury isnt a long term threat. Its just a broken bone that heals.

Cowboys owe him too much money. Hes the qb the next 2-3 years when available. Saying he should just retire is ridiculous to me after this injury. The bone has to heal. That is all. Ive read the reports of doctors on this injury. There is no longterm risk once the bone heals. This is not the same as a disc injury, which would be career threatening for him. This picture people paint of him in a walker and wheel chair is overblown. He broke a collarbone, the same one twice since he came back too soon last year.

His only really serious injury was the disc injury that required surgery 3 years ago and hes back from that. This hang up the cleats before you ruin your life crap is annoying and over the top.  2 years ago after his worst injury the previous year. He was 12-4 and elite efficiency. Last year the collarbone ruined the year. Just unlucky. This year unlucky but should be back mid season. This isnt serious once it heals.

He's 36, has had back surgery, missed most of last season and may miss half this season waiting for his back to heal. It's not ridiculous to suggest someone at the tail end of their career who's lost a lot of playing time over the past two years might and/or should retire.

Oh this is great just heard the news. I already called it before the season too, no way is Romo EVER playing a full season again. I didn't expect him to go down quite this early but everyone not living in Texas saw this coming a mile away.

Quest I know you love him and all but it's time to move on. I watched the same thing go down with Kobe, freak injury when he was still a top 10 player in the league then the injuries piled up. When you are in your mid 30s, your body doesn't heal the same. He's injury prone, past his prime, and Prescott is just waiting in the shadows. Aikman played longer than he should have and Romo is following along too.

LMAO, this is the reason in my Fantasy draft yesterday the guy that took Romo AKA MR GLASS also used his 15th round pick to take Prescott as well. 2 QB league so every QB is taken.

We all saw it coming too.  Everyone around here freaked when Kellen Moore got hurt, not that we thought he was any good but expected him to play a bit during the season and he showed enough to know that he could take snaps, hand the ball off, and even complete some passes on the way to earning the team a high draft pick next year.  Turns out we may have something better cooking anyway without Moore in the way.

Sadly they need Tony to stay healthy for another year or two so that they can get Dak ready for the pros. He's preseason-ready, but ask the Lions how important preseason games are.

Well,he's become an injury prone player and that doesn't help a team at all. I don't question his ability, just his ability to stay on the field.
