AVS + Gaming Monitors?

I ordered a BenQ RL2455 gaming monitor and an AVS on Wednesday, both arrived today and I gotta say the input lag is pretty damn good. I managed to max-out NES Tetris within a few hours and that's not an easy feat, I'd only done it once before in my life.

Just wondering if anyone out there has evaluated any other monitors for input lag and whether there were any recommendations from the hive mind? If you're considering a monitor to cut down on input lag the RL2455 (and most of the BenQ gaming monitors) is not a bad choice

I have two BenQ monitors as well and yeah they're amazing for gaming. Input lag is non-existent.

Generally that info is right in the name - all of the monitors mentioned so far in this thread are 24".

Wow, pretty good. I looked into a few monitors when I first got my AVS. Maybe this will be my Christmas present.

Um I think we are neglecting the fact that you maxed out on Tetris? Get yourself up to PGRE next year! Boom Tetris!

I recently just bought the BenQ Zowie XL2430. It's a little on the expensive side for a 1080p monitor, but it's a high quality TN panel. I have not played the AVS on it yet, but I'm sure it would work fantastic on it.

Haven't tried it on this monitor yet but the ViewSonic XG2401 is pretty awesome. Great PC monitor.

I don't know, will it? Is there something wrong with your current sessions?

It may, if your current display has terrible lag.

What do you do about audio if you use a gaming monitor, are there audio out ports?
