So I have read countless number of Zelda Timeline theories and find them interesting, but I wonder, is there a similar phenomenon with Mario, like which stories come first? Or is mario's timeline taken for granted and just assumed progressive? 

He started as Jumpman on Donkey Kong, then became a plumber and we got all the great Mario games.

He also made a bunch of guest appearances like as the ref on Punch Out, as every player in Ice Hockey, and even went missing a few times.

he wasnt missing, he was just being a doctor. ahahah.

I even heard that he got enslaved by intergalactic freedom fighters and was put into this skinny, long spaceship mainly used to bounce balls back out of orbit to destroy the killer blocks that threatend our very lives.

I'm not sure if Mario is a deep enough character to merit a timeline of his life.  I mean, does it matter if he went on a vacation to Isle Delfino before or after he participated in a stage show?
