I hate you. I guess I'm going to give tomorrow morning one more attempt at this one. I thought I'd easily have an unbeatable score. You guys are too good! I can't even imagine what guillaovie has in store for us as he hasn't chimed in the whole week.

Does this score ever max out?? I'd assume it finishes it 999,999.

Yes, it totally freeze when you reach 999,999.

If two or more players get 999,999 points, the earlier in the game wins.

ya, max is 999,999. I have a feeling one of us will max it out this week in one life.

That's my goal tomorrow. So would it be declared a draw if two contestants get 999,999 or would we declare the first place winner the one who got to that score first?

EDIT I just read guillavoie's post

I think it would be the best, so everybody got his chances to make the best score possible until the end of the contest.

The 'roll it first you win' rule is a last option when there's just nothing to compare. Like when we did the championship bowling contest.

Sounds good. I won't be able to try until tomorrow morning so hopefully I'm not to tired after my hectic day today

New high score for me. Damn, knew I'd die early in the snake pit, was too shakey, nervous from the previous stage, which I can't believe I pulled through intact, I was so scared I'd end up getting flattened by that fat rat, but took my time on him til he got himself cornered and I just wacked away at him with my walker leg, but then I had those mines, terrifying, I should've paused for a briefed few minutes after that to regain my composure. Gotten really good at racking up score in the second level, by the time I finished that stage I had just a little over 300,000 points, heck, first stage I had almost 80,000, so I was off to a great start, just amazing I didn't screw up on the speed bike and ice stages, and thought for sure the surfing one would take me down. I rather enjoyed this, but just on this one game alone I think I need to take a good rest, not sure if I can pull off better, I suppose, but I need to recover for a bit first, then will see if I'm up to trying again. As it stands its certainly not a winning score, also since there are already higher, but hopefully if I can't best this one I may stand a chance at 5th place, maybe. If only I managed to get over 600,000 I'd be more confident in it.

Score upon 1st death 577,150

Decided to keep playing til I used a continue, game over in fire zone.

6 deaths snake pit
11 deaths fire zone
final score 735,550

The hardest parts of the fire zone are those fireballs, and those barriers that you have to weave up and down to get through, lining up has always been difficult for me, heck I can't even draw a straight line, never mind asking me to do it in a spllit second. Of coarse it would've helped me to be able to remember the pattern to this stage, I can always remember the speed bike one, but never this one, but then I've played the speed bike one a lot more too. There could be a small chance of me getting all the way through the snake pit without dying, but I'll never get through the fire zone without losing at least a couple lives, and this only after completely having practiced it all over again.

New score. Even if I won't win, I'm proud, I really got better at this game.

Sad score this time around. This game kicked my butt when I was a kid and that still holds true for today. But I'm glad I got a score in. I've been spending my free time moving my gameroom from my upstairs to my downstairs. It's going to be awesome once it's done.

Well even though Matt rained on my parade, I was still able to eek out a decent one-life score. Maybe I'll try a few more times, but I've pretty much played myself out on this game.

Man, you guys are good. I have a hard enough time reaching 300,000 by the time I get to the 3rd stage. Guess all I'm getting this week is participation points, unless I can get at playing this again before time is up and can pull off something miraculous.

Alright this is my all time best score in this game. I've been going at it with this one life for a few hours now(I took 3 or 4 breaks). I almost died with only two heart pieces left but I rushed in going for those last 2000 points. So I maxed out my score on the Terra Tubes.  I'm going to continue and try to go as far as possible with this one life.

HIGH SCORE = 999,999

Wonder where that places me, 7th, 8th place, lower? Damnit. Gave it the best I could, actually managed near 500,000 points at the end of the 3rd stage, was playing a really awesome game, but screwed up bad in the 4th stage, an easy lone snowman took me out because I got vengeful and just had to go back and kill him, he got me instead. Sure I could keep trying to the end, but don't have it in me to care anymore, going to finish up a few cross-stitches and wait til this is over with a see where I stand in participation placement. Awesome scores everyone, lot of great competition for this one.

Well shit, I got busy yesterday and I forgot to post my score. I did a little better than I expected and got to about 280,000. I am in Wichita now so I can't post a picture. Oh well, I guess I will try next week.
