Welp I tried to help my new girlfriend by giving her my old Ouya that has the emulators and roms on it because she is a gamer that doesnt have much money. The thing is I had never actually turned the Ouya off via the power button I always put it to sleep through the menu, but she cycled the power off with the buton. Now it acts as its being turned on for the first time, its asking for language selection, and trying to connect to a network. When its connected to a network it just scans for updates that obviously can't be had since the servers dont exist anymore. Is there a way to get around the network and updates search and just get to the main menu? Any help is appreciated.

Something I saw on Wiki -

On May 21, 2019, Razer released a statement which announced that online accounts and services would be discontinued on June 25, 2019. According to Razer, most apps will become unusable on the platform, many relying on the user accounts to work. Razer suggests that users may be able to transfer purchases to other storefront platforms like Google Play, if developers and publishers agree to such.

I don't think that really affects what I want to do. As everything worked fine yesterday. I just have to get around the auto-system update to the main menu. I did just find some info that it might work if I change the date but no where does it explain how to do that.

I got it as a Christmas present the year it cane out. It was great to bring over my friends house for all of us to play with. I hadn't touched in years and it was an easy way to allow the girlfriend to play some games she never got a chance to
