How to get awards added on your NA account

What determines whether a rare game gets it's own icon?

For the NES, Cheetahmen II, Myriad, and Stadium Events have their own icons (The Panesians have one for a set). What about for some of the other systems? There's some games for the SNES that are equally as rare. Any intentions of eventually adding other games to the icon list?

Just wondering what is required for the game only ereader award & on the mario party ereader set does it have to be CIB as I have everything but the instruction manual (which I hope is just still packed in storage)?

Are there two strategy guide icons? This says you need 100+ but the other thread says 25+.

Not sure it does. If it does I've had it for awhile now since I have hundreds of NP magazines. I would think it only applies to full on Walkthrough type strategy guides but we'll see what others say about it.

I PM'ed acomicbookguyc about the "Socially Networked" award earlier, but forgot to mention that a few years ago, a video game store had contests for games like Goldeneye 007 and Super Smash Brothers on N64 that I played in (I didn't win either). I have no physical proof of that unfortunately. Would that fall under the "Game Contest Participant" award or should I not even worry about that since I have no proof?

EDIT: Everything was cleared up. This post is irrelevent now.

For Club Nintendo platinum? is that current year only? I have the Mario Hat from Year one, and I got the Playing Cards for last year. I'm only 5 points away from this years platinum.

First rule about  "It's a Boat!"...you don't talk about "It's a Boat"

I have no clue how to be a Jive Turkey.

For the Platinum Award you just need to have the current year. Usually members take a screen shot and PM a mod or myself or post it in the Game Series Award thread since most people with access to add awards check it frequently.

Could I get "Owner of 100+ Peripherals/Accessories" badge

I was cleaning/sorting all my NES/SMS stuff and figured I'd take a shot of the accessories while I had them out. Now I have to do the same with my 16 bit stuff ... ugh




I'm not sure why that Capcom controller was in the Master System tote but I just left it in the pic.

I'll be gathering up all my pirate carts for a pic sometime soon.
