Playing it on the mame cab, turbo tunnel's rapid fire section is kicking my ass. I think what I'm doing is with the stick, I'm moving up or down too much, so when I switch directions, it takes too long to move back. Or if I'm not doing that, I'm over compensating and trying to do it like Raiden's teleport and not moving out of the way.

Yeah on one of the speed sections I was getting caught on a late block. Tried to compensate by not moving up or down so much and died on the first block a couple times. I think I can get past it at some point this week though.

Nah. My chances of finishing in the top ten this week are probably slim to none anyway, so I might as well practice some of the games for the rest of the half since TMNT 3 is the only one that I'm really familiar with.

I made it to level 5. (6 with continues) 6 is the farthest I've ever gotten without using warps, so it will be a challenge to see I will ever get to play level 7. I love the racing levels so I am looking forward to it.

Thought I would share this with you guys. It's a glitch I came across when I was 12. I've never seen it mentioned anywhere else.



It works on the surf board level too. You just jump right as you hop on the bike.

I'm going to try and go for the Contra max score this week instead. I've been meaning to give that a shot for a while now and I'm sure I'd have a lot easier time with that than I did beating this game.

Normally I have little issue with level 3, but times have changed. I'm going to honestly have to blame my LCD on this {hah}. I'm optimistic I can put up something beyond that.

Anyway, this led me to a thought. Many people can't get past level 3. So in terms of this contest, if you concede that level 3 is too much, just get there with as little points as possible and kill yourself off. What's the minimum score you can get to L3 with anyway? I know I've gotten there with less than 180k.

That was my plan, but then I beat level 3...  Now after trying level 4 a couple times, I'm ready to beat level 3 again and quit at the beginning of 4.

Edit: I just got to level 3 at 106,000.
