This list is to comprise all the members that have a NTSC complete licensed NES set. There are many different opinions of what constitutes a "complete set" so for the purposes of this list we will have a few guide lines. Because of this, please understand that you will need to fit into one of the categories. Please pick one from the key.

1) The set must include Stadium Events as one of the
677 titles that make up the "generally accepted" set.

2) This list doesn't take into account variants. Long as you have one copy of a given title it counts

3) If your set is loose with some CIB titles, your set is to be considered loose.

4) All titles must be in hand and part of your personal collection. Not part of a store inventory.

5) CIB- Is defined as Cart, Box, Manual, maps, and pieces that came with the game.

6) Loose- is defined as having any combination of Cart, Box, Manual, maps, and pieces – but not all of them.

I am more than willing to let anybody take over the management of this list if they feel like they can do a better job. I just think this would be a nice list to have on the boards. I often wonder who has a complete set, as well as wanting to see this list grow.

There will also be a "Near Complete" licensed set where the same standards apply, with the exception of owning an NTSC Stadium Events.

Key

(Loose) > See above
(CIB+) > Have a complete copy of Stadium Events
(CIB-) > Have a complete set CIB, with a loose Stadium

thanks guys. I have updated the list.

Everyone, please remember that I only update it once I am told that something has changed. If you are on it and need to come off or change status, please let me know on the post or on a PM. I don't hunt down posts to see if i need to. If you can tell me to add you to the list, you guys can remind me to take you off.

Many reasons which are best not explained here, but I'll do it anyway and hope it sticks.

Reason #4
The game has different code thus making it a different game. Heck, it's generally accepted that even a game like 6-in-1 is two separate games and they're the EXACT SAME THING with only a sticker separating the rarity (Just so no one keeps their heads scratching, I'm talking about 6-in-1 Caltron and 6-in-1 Myriad)

Reason #3
It was released by a different publisher. This is what I believe is why we actually consider Caltron/Myriad a different game as well. Stadium Events was released by Bandai, World Class Track Meet was released by Nintendo.

Reason #2
It's part of a series by Bandai. There's Athletic World (Which has a legitimate variant, cartoony vs. non-cartoony) for series 1, and then we also have the Family Fun Fitness pad. Also, speaking of the Family Fun Fitness Pad, you'll have to consider the power pad a variant of the Family Fun Fitness pad as well if you want to go by "Stadium Events is a variant"

Reason #1
Stadium Events is the original, World Class Track Meet would be the variant. We don't call the "Pixel/Grey Box" version of Metroid the variant, no it's the original, the yellow box is the variant. Why? Because it was out first. Even if reasons 2 to 4 are wrong, this one alone should be good enough.

That pretty much says it all!

They have different serial codes and are completely different releases too.

Stadium Events: http://www.nintendoage.com/index....
World Class Track Meet: http://www.nintendoage.com/index....

Stadium Events is NES-SD-USA released by Bandai in 1987. World Class Track Meet is NES-WT-USA released by Nintendo in 1988. They are two separate releases by two separate companies and not an identical release.
