Hey hey all. Dear old Rick Derris, who you may know as Rick Head, has me convinced that I should be playing much more Nintendo. This seems to be a great way to dive in.

For quick reference, two games in this year's contest were released AFTER I was born. Most of you playing on carts will be using plastic that is older than I am.

i havent played life force since moday   i got decent runs in.

work and baby kai been keeping me busy at night (she just went to bed lil rascal). the disney tv is in the bedroom where moma kai is sleeping so, no chance right now. the trinitron got moved to the shed test setup. sleep during the day till momma kai gets home from work.

looks like i might have to move the "14 sony into the luandry room... or something.

ya, its a good game. not my favorite style, idk i never liked gradius. i HATE "run into the wall death". the weapon system is ok. you pretty much have to memorize the stage layouts. its aite   i think stinger is better   
 

I think Mega Man 3 is better.

I've never made it past the third level in Life Force. But I also really sucked at Isolated Warrior and RoadBlasters before those contests and I did fine.

Agreed! I had never beat all the mega man games, and decided to run through them all last month! Good times had!

 

I played the hell out of Marble Madness yesterday until I was able to beat it a few times. I hadn't beaten this game since I was a kid.

My best score upon completion was around 76k. I'm going to need a lot more practice if the high scores from prior MM threads are any indication. You guys are beasts.
