I know the feeling.  I had guys on first and second in the 8th, and hit one on a rope.  It nailed the very top of the wall and dropped right to the outfielder for a single, no runs scored.  Next AB ends the inning with a double play.

It has a bit of an initial learning curve.

It's another shooter where you want to be fully powered up and stay powered up.

That took all the fight out of me.  I gave up a 3 run homer with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth and thought for sure the cpu rally was on .

All their runs came on the longball , gave up a grand slam and the 3 run shot

Final update to my score.  Despite hints, tips, and research I couldn't ever hit as well as some of you.  Oh well - it was a decent showing.  I'm in the minority - I enjoyed playing this game this week, though I'm getting pretty sick of it now.  Time for a break from NES baseball!
