I hate people these days. Especially after all of this Stadium Events crap. Now all of a sudden everyone thinks they know video games. I wish people would just stick to what they know. This guy clearly hasn't done any research on what he has, he just thinks that because it's the gold version its worth a ton, where in fact there are more gold carts out there than grey. Just like this one time i was at an expo. I had 5 gold zelda carts on my table and this kid goes "oh my god are these really gold carts or did you just paint them because i know all of the ones on ebay are just painted gold so they look really rare" ...seriously, i just stared at him for like 10 minutes.

Just another uninformed seller that hasn't done proper research. Going off of hearsay. I'm sure all 5 "appraisals" were from people just as ignorant. Oh, well. I've sent him a kind message informing him his cart is rather common and that he should do a "completed items" search on it.

oh man awesome item!!! I must have played this for four hours a day back in grade seven. I had no idea it was so valuable but I guess it makes sense its a true classic! Would you consider any lower offers at all? I know you said it was prized at 1500 but I don't think I can scrape together more than 1200 bucks. I am very interested though. Please let me know. Are you sure your appraisers are right? These normally only sell for $300-$500 depending on condition. I've been thinking of bidding on one for awhile. Do you have more pictures?

The uneducated seller thing is possible but its probably an attempted rip off. there's no way five different people gave him $3000 appraisals. Between that and the low feedback I think its a scammer.

I would suggest a bit of research before posting items...also, if you really did get it appraised at $3000, which I find VERY hard to believe, go and accept that offer NOW. I've never even seen a brand new copy of the game go for that price. And if you're questioning my sanity, here's a link to eBay's completed auctions, where it appears the average price of sold copies was around $8.

I normally just laugh at this kind of stuff and continue with what i was doing but i had to post it. I seriously hope this guy is just trying to scam (as bad as that sounds), because i really hope their aren't people out there that are THAT stupid. Even though i know there are.
