I just bought a PowerPak from RetroUsb and I can't get any FDS games working on my AVS.  My PowerPak loads them just fine on my original nes, but when I try to load them on the AVS, I just get a black screen.  I'm using the official mappers with Loopy's mappers on top.  Other games run fine.  I thought the AVS was fully compatible with the PowerPak and FDS games?

Again, no problems running them with the PowerPak on an original toaster.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I'm having other issues with my PowerPak, and I'm starting to suspect that it is defective (I posted about another issue in Help Wanted).

THe PowerPak with FDS ROMs work just fine on the AVS.

What AVS firmware are you using? Try updating it.

I noticed that if I hit reset, sometimes I can get the FDS screen up but when I press a button to load a game I get error 22. Other times I just get a weird, yellow glitched screen. I'm starting to think that I definitely got a bad PowerPak  

Turns out my PowerPak was defective. My replacement PowerPak works fine.

I returned it and they sent me a new one.
