Did you ever try to beat it using continues/passwords? I'm impressed that Bert made it to near the end in a 1CC. I can't even do it using passwords.

Only played once so far to day, and I went back to the console from the PSP and got a better score with a 19-2 game.  Messed up on one inning of pitching.  The outfielders combined with the shortstop to be terrible, but it was my fault for letting them be a factor.  If I had pitched right, the outfielders wouldn't have seen the ball.  I hit better early in the game, but the bats died in the later innings, which was disappointing.  I wish I could hit consistently.

Here was my first ever full game of NES Baseball!

I need to stop being so damn hard on myself I have had a couple games where I come out positive but it isn't good enough, hell if I get an out in the first inning before I get a run I reset every single time.

This game is so inconsistent it's best to just take what you can get.  You never know when that big inning will happen.
 

Yeah I am going to go home tonight and fire it up with a positive attitude...well try to anyway.
 

Yes, kill yourself earning that 6th place finish this week.  Let that fatigue wash over you.  Don't think about the fielding errors.  So many errors.  Enough errors to drive one insane you might say.



 

Hahahahah, I honestly think I am way passed that point with this goddamn game....
 

It seems like the cpu mimics the way you play as I have kept the computer's runs down,but they seem to be keeping mine down as well. If you tee off on their pitcher,they seem to tee off on yours.
 

Yup, come home, try to play and I feel like beating a cat with a shoe within 5 minutes.

I seemed to have figured something out with the pitching.  I don't have a handle on hitting consistently but I feel like there's a trick to it in there somewhere.  I wish I could spread some of this figuring out to the shooters and beat em ups where you all crush me!
 

I've got the hitting down,and thought I had the pitching down,but my 12-2 lead in the 8th became and 12-10 lead  because the computer could do no wrong. Fun.

Alright I honestly made some improvements on my pitching which is helping a bit but it is still those goddammit outfielders....... batting seems to just be the same but all over the place. Last game I had 2 home runs in a row, knocked it outta the dam park then the next 4 or 5 hits are garbage....

Also I turned my TV back on and it had these white lines across the top that slowly went away after 5 minutes.....so if anyone has ever seen that before let me know hahaha. And no I didn't throw my baseball cart at it.

I never thought about it, but a pitcher should always chase a ground ball into the outfield! Amazing!

So are you giving away a free Baseball cart after the contest? If so,I want it. Haha.

I was honestly thinking of bringing it out to the baseball field and video taping me taking a swing at it.

As frustrated as I get with some games,I just could never bring myself to do that. I go grab a tree branch and swing it at the nearest tree like a baseball bat.

This is the first time anything like that has ever crossed my mind hahahhaaha I wouldn't either but man.......I think I discovered a massive fault in my game though, I swing to much and try and hit every single ball instead of anticipating a good pitch.

This game is bad. I can see why I always stuck to Bases Loaded 2. I will try to complete a game tomorrow.

I haven't attempted this week's game yet. Been busy. Curious cat. How long does the average game take? I'm wondering for planning purposes.

Never really looked to be honest but it feels like 20-30 minutes.
