I would still import the physical copy just to have. I'm a huge Mana series fan. Seeing as Seiken Densetsu 3 was never translated officially I would be shocked if it made it's way to North America. But there is always hope.

I was pretty damn excited when I read about that! I never really played SD3, but really enjoy Secret of Mana and Sword of Mana. I have a lot of doubts about it making its way to the US but I would buy that day 1 if it did.

Japan gets everything. People in the US would eat that up. A physical copy of that would sell like crazy here. Alas. Doubt it ever happens :-(

Also not sure if everyone is aware (I wasn't) but Ultra Streetfighter II is getting a physical release and is up for preorder at EB Games / Gamestop
 

Here are some sweet offical Zelda BotW Expansion Pass cases and inserts.  I was able to snag 2 of these from a Gamestop by me.  They're official Nintendo display only boxes.  I recommend trying to snag them now from your local Gamestops if you are good with the employees there, these are starting to blow up on eBay and are hard to come by.

Huge fan of the cover art as well.

Official meaning it has the Nintendo logo? That barcode on the back and numbers are the Gamestop specific sku to sell it in their POS. These come in a merch kit from Gamestop corporate not Nintendo. How much are people paying for these? Ill go get a handful and trade them off if they are actually worth something

  Do you work for Gamestop? Does all promotional material come from Gamestop corporate or Nintendo? Feel free get a bunch since you are able and sell away, you can easily find out how much they are going for, apparatntly as easy as it is for you to get a handful these.  It's a cool case, insert is the same paper as every other game, Gamestop can't just use Nintendo's branding/logo wothout approval.    


EDIT:  Are every "For display only" boxes sitting on the shelves in offcial Switch cases, with what looks like to me official art with "Display Only" on them also not official?  They all have the little "For Display Only" in the right hand corner, and like any display box from any previous generation, seem to be official Nintendo display material. Did those also come from Gamestop corporate?  Do all displays come from Gamestop corporate?  Has every "Display Only" box from the past come from Gamestop corporate, or from Nintendo?  

Gamestop has scads of retail display boxes. Sometimes I grab them to checkout when doing a preorder. I get the impression the OP may have "lifted" them. Funny how Breath of the Wild CE has "Not for Resale" on the cover as well.

I downloaded the DLC the other night, couldn't find the special chests though I only really investigated the Temple of Time and Resurrection Shrine. There's a lot of real estate onthe plateau, but the hardbound guide won't help me here since it didn't exist at the time of writing.

Are you inferring I stole them?  I didn't, got them from a Gamestop manager who I will be asking if these came with all of the other official Nintendo Switch "Display Box Only" display boxes.  If the answer is yes, which I imagine it is, I would consider this an offical Nintendo for "display box only."  If a couple others here don't think it is or any of the other Switch display boxes are legit, then that's their call, I'm just giving collector's here a heads up, because they will be gone and poeple will want them.  I've already been hit up here for my double.

I found the chests, it was when I first started so that was dozens of hours ago so my memory of where exactly they are aren't great.  I can PM you a hint if you want to avoid spoiling the local for others.

They look pretty cool.  We don't have those at EB Games in Canada    Ironically I asked about those earlier in this thread.  My post on the bottom of the first page and my first post on the top of the second page says that Gamestop better not be selling those!  haha.  I guess they aren't but other people now are.  I am sure at some point they will be scanned or on thecoverproject or something and people will just print them.  Seeing as how they are literally an empty case with a cover.
 

FYI I have added the Japan retail exclusives to the first post. BE WARNED I AM NOT SAYING THESE GAMES CAN BE PLAYED IN ENGLISH! They are merely retail games that are released in Japan that are not announced for sure yet to come to North America. If you wish to import you take the chance of them being Japanese only. If any members can 100% confirm they can be played in English I will add that beside the title in the list.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is out, I think. 5300 yen or thereabouts if I'm not mistaken. I set up a Japanese eShop account just to download the free demo. The demo is Japanese only currently.

 

You are correct sir but it is scheduled to come out in N.America in April.  The games I have listed have no scheduled release date for N.America

I can confirm that the hard copy (Japanese) of I Am Setsuna plays automatically in English in a US Switch

Snagged the Isaac game for $32 on Amazon with the 20% off Prime deal. I don't see this one selling for terribly long as a physical title, being a mature game, but I could be wrong.

I think you may be right. Could probably be a little hard to find later. Wondering if they are doing a second run without the stickers and manual?

Im lovin it but i think i suck! Played for 5 hours or so yesterday when i got it and beat through it once. Sorta still getting the hang of things. I had played only a little on 3DS before this due to freezing issues so im glad to actually dive into it! Pretty fun to have a totally different experience everytime!  

Amazon had a small stock of Switches today. Are people still having a hard time finding these? They are still going for $400+ on ebay
