It took TMR over 24 hours to beat Tetris 2. That puts it up there with Bump n Jump and Qbert. Although TMR isn't the greatest at puzzle games so I don't know how long it would take most players.
Ha, I just watched a bit of his archived stream -- no wonder it took him so long, since he accidentally selected "NO" on the continue screen at Level 67 (ouch!).
That came really, really close to happening to me at one point, as I accidentally buffered a right directional press (hitting right as I topped out) and reflexively hit Start before it registered that the cursor was on "NO". Thankfully it didn't "take", and I caught my error before I repeated it.
Actually, I think the game disables your input confirmation on the selection screen for about a second after the screen transition -- which is really, really smart design if so.
