That's hard core dude. Can't imagine the $$ and effort it must have taken to acquire all of these. Also totally intrigued by the tengen Tetris prototype in the gyromite cart

I might be mistaken, but I don't think that Dr. Franken proto is the one the ROM came from...I don't believe that one had a label. I seem to recall Dream applying that label himself from some swag in the Tips & Tricks office, does that sound familiar Dream?

The dumped proto was never sold as far as I know.

A lot of these came from bulk purchases from Dreamtr over the years, some from the Nolan's, some imported from Stephen, others from NA and Ebay.

@Shane Not sure the differences, all I have notice so far was the title screen but I had not played both extensively to compare.
@bunnyboy someone usually outbids my on the SNES protos. SNES Sux anyway
@hammerfestus those Tengen Tetris Prototypes are possible my favorites. They are unreleased version that were licensed by Nintendo before they had their falling out with Tengen. One of them is any early primitive version. 2 of them are similar to the unlicensed Tengen version with some difference. For one thing the pieces don't change to silver once in place. One of them is a multicart with Super Mario 1 one it. I was told that Nintendo was trying to decide on a multicart for a packin game (like SMB, DG, WCTM) or in Eurote that acutally got Super Mario Bros/Tetris/World Cup (but it was the released Nintendo version they got)
@theredeye Dr. Franken just has a cassette tape type label.I have never heard of another one being found but I could be wrong. I think you may be refering to Dracula's Night out? Im not sure it there is another one out there or not, I had never seen one.

Oh sorry, I meant Drac! Yeah, Dr. Franken I remember. Drac's was dumped a long long time ago by a ROM translator who happened to have a copy...his friend's dad brought it home or something. As far as I know it was never for sale and didn't have a lable. You should check if your Drac's is an actual prototype on an EPROM board, I seem to remember a copy made with an authentic label on it.

Memory lane with those pics, man. Lots of those were in my house at some point. I've still got Bio Force Ape if you want that in your set, though it's Famicom. I've also got the unreleased Superman and Final Fantasy II carts we dumped...not mine, I'm just holding them for their owner temporarily.

There are several Drac carts with authentic labels, one in NH right now.

Great pics, had to have sold you 20-30 at this point, no? Before I did my formal sell-out, Joe was the only person I would sell protos to. I wanted them to go to someone who would truly appreciate them as only a proto collector can and Joe is that sort of guy.

Congrats on your collection duder!
