So I browse the forums from the latest posts, and sometimes you see people bumping a sale and buy thread at the same time, maybe even an auction spotlight for their ebay store as well for good measure. Thats 2-3 threads taking up space on the first page. The idea of limiting bumps is to avoid spamming right? So I feel like having multiple threads from one person bumped all at once kinda defeats the purpose. All I'm suggesting is limit the 24 hour bump to one thread, and link the other two in the bumped thread. If you feel the others aren't getting the exposure you want you can alternate between them each day. Anybody feel me on this?

This is an area where I'd trust the mods to make the right decision. If someone wants to bump their WTB and WTS at the same time, I don't have any issue with that at all. If it gets to the point where the same person is bumping 6 or 7 threads at a time, I am sure the mods would warn/take appropriate action. Am I right, mods?

See, the smart thing to do is spread out the bumps but link it anyways, much more exposure that way  .
I honestly don't mind seeing these myself, and in my case with the paperclip trade up I wouldn't want that to be limiting that just because I'm set on getting a copy of Galaga or something. And then there's situations where it's an item that doesn't pop up often (ex specific arcade cabinet) and you'd have to debate on whether you want a better chance at getting that or to sell games, and I think that fixing this inconvenience would just lead to to many problems.

Yeah if someone wants to use up their bumps all at once then oh well imo. Restricting to one bump for all 3 threads would be tedious. People would just spread em out and I personally wouldn't notice anyways.

Its not an issue that comes up very often. You get a few people that break the 24 hour rule, but not often do people multi bump like that.
