Yeah TG16 is cooling more than peaking. Certain titles are up though, I sold a CIB Devils Crush today at a solid price. As for what's hot, DS is up there. Shepherds Crossing 2 is an easy 250 right now. And I remember when they were posted in the Good BIN thread a few years back around 25 each from a seller with a ton on Amazon.

WTB CIB MINT Games: NES - SNES - N64 - Sega Genesis - Turbografx 16

DS is heating up for sure. Already some $100+ titles. Solatorobo (big box), black sigil, commando steel disaster, magicians quest, dokapon journey, super robot taisen og saga (big box), and shepherds 2. And then I think some other ones like little red Riding Hood zombie BBQ, drone tactics, tingles Rosy rupeeland, and fighting fantasy are also creeping up there.

Lots and lots of gems and quality titles on the DS that's for sure.

All of the hidden gems for NES have already been already been identified.

If new ones get hyped up, it's just pump and dump instigated by greedy people, which is not helpful to the collecting community.

If you really want to find new hidden gems, you should be looking for a few more on SNES, or looking at Gameboy, GBA, GameCube and Wii

Curious to get your thoughts on gb, gba, gamecube, and Wii hidden gems. I can think of a couple for gba and Wii

Haha I totally understand that. Don't want that NA spike effect kicking in before you've got what you're after. You can pm me if you want. I won't go posting your gems

disagree, too easy to just burn a disc, honestly i think cd based collecting will never touch that of carts

Judging by trends from what I've seen in New Zealand, it looks like the Vita could be next over here. The games aren't necessarily expensive as such, it's more the consoles that are increasing in price.
I hope I'm wrong in that though since I've still yet to get one.

There are plenty of fake cartridge based games out there. I've seen way more fake cartridge based games than I have disk based games. But I agree, I think for the most part, collectors will focus on pre-gamecube era games.

And people can't just get an Everdive with evey single cart game on it?  Have you tried to burn a proper CDR game for Dreamcast?  It's not as easy as you think.  Th GD disc for Dreamcast is a very unique 1gb disc.

I have with no issue, dont get me wrong dreamcast is cool, i have 3, but not a lot of people bought it, so low nostalgia, some good games but not a crazy amount exlusive quality. Big thing is no one can do vga. Hd retrovision is working on a cable and that might help! i just dont see it. Ps2 might Be last big hurrah plus vita ds 3ds

The Dreamcast has great console exclusives IMO. Giga Wing 1&2, Sturmwind, that Spawn arcade game be Capcom, Power Stone 1 & 2, Shenmue (although it seems not exclusive for long with the PS4 HD remake announced), and Soul Calibur (which is IMO the best in the series). Also, it has great ports of arcade fighters that are the most accurate around. It has arguably the best/most accurate version of SF2 ever released and the same with MvC2.
