9/25/15 late night pick-up.  Why the picture is upside down (even though it shows up rightside up on my PB, I can't tell ya)

9/26/15 haul. Drove 20 minutes away to a rich neighborhood to pick up an Animal Crossing CIB mint for a whole $2. Figured it might be a good spot to hit yard sales; I stuck out at the first 5 or so, then HAZZZZZAAAA! Went to one, asked the lady about any gaming stuff and she goes inside and brings out a box full to the rim. Lots of dirty, broken stuff, yet I picked thru and found the gems. Got home and the GG doesn't work (one of the battery coils is corroded, and I bet that's why because the rest of the system is mint). Yet, I think the FF7 sealed in the blister more than makes up for it; it does have a crack blemish in the bottom right corner... but meh, I'm more than happy. Also picked up The Adventures of Lomax for ps1 because I had never heard of it... get home, look it up and find out it's worth $50; the disc and manual are gem mint to boot! Gave the lady my number because she said she had more Nintendo stuff buried someone... ahhh the joy. All-in-all, all these items cost $34... sweeeeeet.

Sweet deal! How'd you come to the price of $34 though?

Thanks man!  The breakdown is like this: $2 Animal Crossing and $1 each for the Starcraft discs, then $30 for everything else at the good yard sale.

I have been known to haggle with people at sales to odd numbers, so offering $34 wouldn't have been that strange for me. XD

Also, thanks a lot P!  I was very pumped.

9/30/15 early-morning pick. Steaked out a local garage sale that advertised a bunch of gaming stuff (tons of systems); didn't open on time so I wait for an hour or so. I was disappointed when I was finally allowed to check stuff out, and being the first one there, to see that a standard SNES system (with cables and nothing else) was $70, as well as other similar price gouging on the other SNES, NES, N64 systems. Controllers were $15 or so each... I ever saw a pair of zappers for $30. I was not disappointed at all about the $9 DD from the same sale! I bought all of this for $20 (not including the calculator... that was from another spot). I needed DD for my N64 set, and am very pleased with the condition (the sticker is on there, but that should clean off just fine... the label is MINT).

10/2/15 some pre-birthday luck I suppose. Went back to the garage sale that I previously got Duck Dodgers at (and the copies of Halo, etc... my last FK post) because the guy said his family would be bringing over more gaming stuff. Got the Hova CD + Nintendo bag with a few pieces of paperwork inside for $13... not too shabby. I also got the Sega CD lot (I hardly ever buy Sega, but I couldn't pass this up). I'm fairly certain I got a steal on it, but I posted it in the PC part of the forum as well to get some insight from the Sega masters. Extra pics to show the minty, awesomeness of certain items in the lot.

This should be in the Mail Day thread, yet I figured it was cool enough to post it here as I consider it an awesome find. I bought a Nintendo Power/ FCN welcome packet and it came in the mail today. The packet shell is in bad condition, yet the contents are in good condition seeing how old it all is. The ID card and Mario sticker are still attached and in untouched condition! If anyone have FCN #1 + 2 thats all I need now

That's pretty killer. I haven't come across any exclusive fanclub type stuff like that before for Nintendo but I have some MST3K crap, haha.

Pick-ups from the last few days (some of the items I received from a NA member have also been mixed in with the stuff in the first picture. The second picture are all Japanese import goodies bought from someone who bought them while they were in Japan; got a killer deal on the lot. The third and fourth pictures are my favorite; new Metroid Prime standee (missing the background, but I almost like it better this way). 4th picture just shows the 3d feel to it (looks great in person). Also included with the standee purchase was the Prime/ Fusion double-sided lanyard which would have been worn by a GS employee.
