No doubt that was a good game. Also, nobody got Blandino'd. So that's a plus. I saw calls being let go on both sides, but not a whole lot. Seemed like a pretty clean game. Really nothing to bitch about for either side other than goal line play selection.
Definitely a great game, and missed calls both ways. Pats should/could have won by 11. Should have been a whole new set of downs.
Yeah, guess you missed how Brady didn't get called for Intentional Grounding, how when beat across the middle the Cheats DB reached out and tripped the open WR,
how Edleman wasn't immediately called to the sideline for the concussion protocol, yet Cliff Avril was on Seattle, and wasn't allowed to return to the game.
More like Seattle should've/could've won by 11...or more.
Congrats, Darell Bevell is your Super Bowl MVP for getting cute with an inside slant instead of pounding the rock 3x down the Deflateriots' throats for the back-to-back titles.
Once again, the Cheatriots escape lucky in another Super Bowl.
Funny you mention that about the hit on Edelman, but not the fact that it should have been flagged for targeting a defenseless receiver. Clearly a high hit and well before the receiver became an active runner.
I'm not a Patriots fan by any means, and even I felt compelled to point out how ridiculously biased you're being. Just sounds like the pathetic, meaningless, harpings of a butt-hurt Patriot hater... If that's what you're going for, then congrats, you nailed it.
The refs let the players play, and for the most part they did a great job. The game was played fast and with few penalties called against either side. I did feel kinda bad for the Hawks until the entire defense decided to pick a fight at the very end. That was a classless act, and it made me feel much better about the thought of them crying on their team flight back to Seattle.
Congrats to all of you Pats fans on the board. Your guys just brought home a well earned Super Bowl victory.
Hey,
sounds like the INT wasn't called correctly then either, right? Watch, no better yet, play some football before you talk, dude. There's plenty of replays that show it was a clean, hard hit...but because football has been turned into a game for the women and non-educated, casual observer or those that never played the sport, any hit is now illegal and "unsportsmanlike."
Pretty sad, most of the dudes down in SEC Country actually know football...but when the Kentucky Wildcats is all you got, that might explain it. Guess you could watch Louisville, though.
That play is completely irrelevant to anything I said, but if you want my opinion, the correct "no-call" was made. Clean interception. Both players had a right to make a play on the ball.
As for "playing" football to know it, only someone grasping at straws would bring that up in an arguement. You have no idea what sports I have/haven't played. Neither can you assert that someone who has played the game posesses more knowledge than someone who hasn't. Just as Donovan McNabb what the OT rules are in a regular season game. Prime example of a player at the professional level who hasn't a clue, meanwile several armchair QB's across the country know it to the letter. (What I'm telling you, is that was a very stupid point for you to make)
Regardless of my standing on what level of violence should be allowed as legal contact, by the rule as it is today, that hit is worthy of a flag. It wasn't thrown, no skin off my back. The only problem I have is when you list every questionable call for one side and act as if it didn't go both ways. Is it a big deal? No. It just makes you just sound pathetic, which is again, no skin off my back.
Then there's this sorry ass attempt at an insult - "Pretty sad, most of the dudes down in SEC Country actually know football...but when the Kentucky Wildcats is all you got, that might explain it. Guess you could watch Louisville, though."
You have no idea where my allegences lie, nor do you know where I hail from. You just see where I'm currently living. Congratulations, again, in sounding ignorant and utterly pathetic.
