Hey, for everyone who wasn't there to experience it first hand,

Chuck "nes" Rogers shattered the KABOOM! World record with a score 22,000(and some change)

The old record for KABOOM! was in the 14k's

Also, a guitar hero world record was broken, a person there (unsure of his name) broke the Metallica "one" world record!!!!

Just figured I'd let ya'll know

Are you talking about Kaboom! on the Atari 2600? Because Todd Rogers Maxed that out a long time ago. I even got half way there once myself...

My mantra, as worded by SamSpade on 06/12/12:
I don't resell to fund my collection, I don't treat this hobby like a second job, I don't care if my collection is worth ten bucks or ten thousand because I never plan on selling it. Seriously, what does the value have to do with anything if you never plan on selling? Speculation doesn't mean jack shit to me at this point, I just want to play my nes games...

Check the score page on Twin Galaxies and you'll see Todd Rogers at 999,999. I achieved a score of 494,960 myself back when I was playing this most excellent game daily and I have the pic to prove it

That being said, 22k is an awesome score as most mere mortals have trouble even earning the Activision patch (for passing 3k).

I think it was an arcade version of Kaboom. I'm not entirely sure though. They did say that the record broken was going on Twin Galaxies
