So, I've had so much fun browsing other peoples' Finders Keepers that I figured I'd do one...  I buy more than videogames but will keep it mostly to that.

Here's some finds from the last couple days of yard sales/craigslist:

PS1 - original, audiophile model (with RCA outs on back) & boxed/complete "Goldfinger" device attached - plays backup games and came with a bunch of them & 2 controllers
Sega Genesis with 2 controllers & Sonic 3
Canon film SLR with lens, manual & bag - all in excellent shape
NIB Ben Cooper Star Wars C3PO costume - box is beat up
2 old tin toys in pretty decent shape (not shown)

GAMECUBE
Super Monkey Ball 2
Animal Crossing SEALED!!

SEGA CD
Dragon's Lair
Pro Pinball (complete but needs case)

SEGA SATURN
Iron Storm
Sega Rally Championship (complete but needs case)

Did you say that was a new copy of Lionheart? I have two beaten up copies, I would be interested in your copy if it is indeed new

Yes, Lionheart unpunched except for one horse.  Sorry, I didn't check back to this thread and already had tossed it on ebay but it's still around:  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....; I'll gladly sell it or anything else off-bay - let me know!

I actually had another great haul yesterday!

Gamecube with 4 controllers (2 Wavebirds, one missing receiver) & 17 games, Dreamcast with several games, several other Dreamcast games including Shenmue & House of the Dead 2 (these are all out of picture), 7 Sega Saturn games, 3 game guides, 3 Pokemon cloth bags, a vintage Canon SLR, a PS2 Slim, a PS1, a vintage Rockman (guitar device... a crazy find, actually!), 6 really good Gameboy games and a few other games as well.....  as if this wasn't enough, I found an amazing guitar too at the end of the day of hunting.  I wasn't sure if anybody likes to see things like that, so I kept it to mostly the game stuff.

Working on a trade/sale list!

Had a damn fine pickup day for a Monday.  So, I have a weird love[his stuff]/hate[his attitude] relationship with this local CL guy, and got a bunch of systems off of him for $30 - 2 PS1 slims, 2 PS1 fats, a PS2 fat, a Gamecube, DK Classics box, various controllers & games... not too shabby.  Barely any wires though.

But here was a MUCH better score:  SNES w Yoshi's Island, Genesis with some games, 3 N64 games - 1 CIB, various other papers/boxes/etc, 17 NES games, many with manuals - SMB/DH, SMB3, Dr Mario, S Glove Ball, Mario Bros, Ms Pac-Man, Spy vs Spy, Ghoul School, Ghostbusters, Snake's Revenge, Quattro Sports (CIB but bad box), Bases Loaded II, Rampage, Mega Man 2, Motor City Patrol, California Games & Blades of Steel ......................... all out of a garbage pile.  LOL!

Now I don't feel quite so bad about Sunday's, "Oh, too bad you weren't hear earlier.  I just sold a HUGE box of games and a Super Nintendo for $20.", at the flea market.  Me: "I was here... you just weren't set up yet because of the rain."

Oh well, huge garbage score makes up for it.  As my friend Liz said, "You're a Nintendo Magnet" - LOL!!

Scored a mint Philips CD-I system today with a NIB Tracker ball, a CIB Atari 7800 system with some CIB games, and also some other things. First time I've ever seen a CD-I, actually! (Besides some vague memory of an appliance store selling that system back in the day?? Anybody else remember that? Weird..)

Damn, that is a really nice dumpster dive.

Seriously, nobody in CA throws out any game stuff (or even leaves stuff out on the curb )

^^ Thanks, man - that's what I thought, too!

Long time since I posted here, but thought this was a pretty killer score earlier today: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....

Always wanted one of these - now I'll have three brand new ones!! =)

Also, after hating it too much to even browse, scored a damn good craiglist lot!  42 NES games, a system, a Genesis with 4 games, and a Super Mario World cart  - $50.  I actually gave him $60 so he'd meet my co-worker and hold it for 24 hours to do so, knowing that was welllllllllll worth it.  I'd of had to drive 1 1/2 hours each way, otherwise, so $10 over 3 hours of my time and also gas is a no-brainer.  Some of the highlights are Mario 2 & 3 (two of those), Super Dodge Ball, Mega Man 2, Simon's Quest & Tecmo Super Bowl.  Really good score, I'd say!!

More craigslist goodness.  Pale in comparison to some of the other crazy finds recently but I'm happy to see people get them!

NES top loader with controller
SNES Super 8, boxed (excited about this one!)
Capcom Fighter Power Stick, boxed (you can use this on NES too)
23 NM empty N64 boxes
Ghostbusters for Sega Master System
another badass SNES arcade stick
a SNES asciiPad (not pictured)
a VERY high-end system selector that does component, composite, S-video, optical & network switch - 17" component-size

Dude had awesome stuff!!  I may be getting a Vectrex & TurboGrafx from him too if he decides to sell.  (fingers crossed)

I very seldom share my finds because I find pretty good stuff pretty often and I realized it'd be annoying if I did this often - BUT - I found this on craigslist today and am pretty happy with it though because craigslist tends to suck ass.  Picking it up shortly.  It has two fire orange controllers you can barely see as well.  $25!!  =)

It works pretty well!  I have a Japanese Super Famicom, and this allows me to play NES/SNES/Super Famicom and original Famicom games all on that system.  I believe it uses an NES-on-a-chip though so it's like not quite as perfect as using the original.  I'm sure it will act goofy at some point but has been problem free so far.  I had trouble with the first NES game I tested but it seems to have been fine since.

Ebay - $200

It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn good!  The book has been heavily used but it's all there, sans-stickers.  I had a box and game already, but this is better.  I'm happy to have this one outta the way!

OH and I got this too.  I already posted it in the "small finds" thread but figured I'd post it here for the hell of it.  Randomly fell into my lap via a local guy.  (Traded a top loader, 4 boxed commons and $20.)

I picked up this incomplete SegaScope Sega Master System set in the summer.  It needed the game, the glasses / connector and the Light Phaser to be complete.  I got the game a while back for a few bucks, and just got the glasses & gun this weekend.  It had all of the paperwork in the box already, and I made a new lid out of a piece of styrofoam that is the perfect shallow depth to fill the gap.  Here's pics:

The last picture with the N64 controller shows you how big this thing is!  Anyway, the gun was the most expensive thing here... at $10.  I put the whole thing together for a whopping. . . . . $21.00!!  It's not the cleanest set out there but from I've gathered it's kind of rare.  Very cool considering I started the summer wanting a Master System and ended up with this crazy set.
