What Dain said ^^^ I still need 8 HES titles, and haven't had much luck finding them. The NES ebay market is not doing very right now, not many people selling items.

Welcome to the forum too, always great to have a new member!!!

The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask (ok, corny cliche). We have everyone here from total newbness to supreme chook hyper combo masters -- we don't discriminate...

...but we'll still poke fun from time-to-time, and you're allowed to poke right back

At any rate, welcome!

Hello, all.  mb7241 here, checking in for the first time to a forum I'm sure to have to visit more than once.  On March 24, 2007, I set out to do what a few of you have already done, and what a few of you are trying to complete and are much further along than I:  I set out to build and finish an NES game collection.  I currently sit at 382 different US releases (mostly carts only, Flintstones:  The Surprise at Dino Peak is the main highlight), with an additional 12 variant carts, 2 carts of the homebrew/reproduction variety, 3 prototypes (including both known prototypes of Super Turrican, as well as one of the two known Darkman protos), and 12 total PAL releases (including a complete Maxi 15).  I have 3 more pending in (Snow Brothers, Kickle Cubicle, and Casino Kid).  If you wish to know more about me and the 350-450 transactions I've done over the years, I'm also a member of such sites as www.tradegamesnow.com (155 feedback rating/213 total positives/100%), www.digitpress.com (42? total positives), www.gamengai.com (5 feedback rating/11 total positives), and eBay (106 feedback rating/112? total positives/100%).

Parpunk...I know you'll probably read this, so I'll go ahead and say I may be in the running for the next CIB Myriad.  Especially if the serials match .

Hey guys...trying to boost my cart only collection into something a bit more prosperous.  No one on here with the exceptionof NationalGameDepot knows me (I traded a Sachen Famicom Converter to him about a year ago for a few odds and ends in NES gaming), so I figured I would join and hopefully pick up some cartridges I am in need of along the way.  I have been collecting for oh 1-2 years now, but with no where near the collection of some of these other guys.

Hi, I am Rory,16, and collecting for about 3 years. I have a ton of consoles over 100 still and have had that special spot for the NES since it was my first. I am going for a complete NES collection, so I plan on collecting for my whole life. My user name is just my nickname at school and is not intended to say I am a better collector.
I will definatly use this site a lot

Later

Hey All! I'm Pat and I'm 18. I found this site through a link over at the Digital Press forums when I was reading about the NWC Repro and decided to join. I currently have a little over 200 NES Games the highlight being my boxed and complete copy of Stack-Up. I look forward to getting to know some of you and hopefully expanding my NES collection.

PM me if you have the following Gamecube Case: Kiosk demo #17!

Hi everyone, I've been "lurking" on this forum for a while, but I figure it's time to join in on the fun. One of my collecting goals is collecting every licensed US release (loose). I'm about halfway there. I'm not too concerned with getting stuff CIB. I've got plenty of loose games, so hopefully someone will be willing to trade so I can work toward my goal. I'm also interested in Famicom games, especially "pirate originals." Another goal I'm working on is finding Hyundai Comboy stuff and the licensed Korean releases. I put a quick page together about the Comboy here if you're interested. I still need to add stuff to the page.

I have spent a lot of time at RetroNintendo.com, which is a pretty cool site.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to having a lot of fun on the site!

Famitek - Hyundai Comboy and other info

I am searching for the Korean version of Phantasy Star 1 (SMS), and any Hyundai Comboy games I might not have. Let me know if you have any for sale or trade!

Welcome to the site!

You can add Tiger-Heli, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!, and Wild Gunman to your list. I just got a Korean Version Wild Gunman the other day. I see that our list needs to be updated as well -- GREAT info BTW.

Hello everyone!  My name is Joel and I'm 24.  I don't drink or do drugs, but I'm addicted to Nintendo!   I got a NES after getting rid of the intellivision as a kid.  I have fond memories of playing it at home and at friends homes.  I only ever had about 20 games, most from garage sales.  It's was kinda hard to get many games when I was only earning $20 a month doing a paper route once a week.  I later sold my NES to buy the new Super Nintendo.  Ahhh, I loved that system so much too.  Again, I couldn't afford very many games.  I got some for birthdays and Christmas.  I remember getting DKC2 new when it came out.  I played it for hours and hours, to completion.  Then I had to sell my SNES to get the N64   I preordered it and got it came in a few days early before the realease date! Yeah!  On the way home, my mom had to stop at the fabric store.  I opened the box and started drooling over it as I franticly waited in the van.  The excitement of the new system always overpowered the sadness of selling the old.  Looking back, I wish I could of kept all my old games and boxes.  I've been collecting more seriously for about 7 or 8 years.  I repurchased all the old systems I've had and more.  I was lucky and found some at resale shops or garage sales.  The remainder is mostly from good old ebay.  I also collect Turbografx and Pc Engine games pretty actively.  Then there are my pinball machines too.  I got into fixing, collecting, and restoring them about 4 years ago
