I was hoping you'd say that! I used to play the shit out of that when I was young. I had the PC version back then

Picked up a TI-99/4a computer complete in the box today. Came with all the hookups and stuff, and 10 games with manuals. Also grabbed a CIB Quickshot 1 joystick.
Total cost: $2.50

Flea market booth of a store that has both games and magic cards.

I have a good friend that's WAY into magic (I played some years ago, don't really these days), but he was telling me some months back about expedition lands they put in a couple recent sets. I bought some packs and actually got a couple of them. They've sat in a box since.

Fast forward to that booth having a copy of Earthbound.

I offered to trade one of the expedition lands I pulled for it.

I now have Earthbound.

Had a day of mixed emotions at garage sales today. Got all of the above for $40, which is good. However, I was a day late / buck short on one deal. Went to a local sale and saw a booth that had a box full of CIB n64 games. I rush over there, but see that another guy is handling the games. He literally got there less than 30 seconds before me. Me bringing my child sets me back again. I try to hold my cool and only grab the stuff he sets back down. Sadly, I know this guy. He runs a booth at a local flea market. It was at that point that I knew I was screwed. He got about 5 mint CIB games including Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Pokemon Snap, a green N64 w/ all hookups, some other random stuff, and a handful of controllers for $70. Uggh. I grabbed the starfox 64 and Mario 64 (no game - box and manual only) for $8. I walk off pretty upset. Oddly enough, I decide to stop back at that sale before I go home. I skim through the leftovers again and found Conkers Reloaded CIB for $2 and a couple other Xbox games .

Got the PS4 Arkham Knight LE Statue CIB for $20. I didn't even care if it was worth it - it's so freaking cool

The rest of the games (Wii, PS2, GB, and DS) were $1 each. Also got a bunch of DS manuals/boxes for free. Not a bad day, but was so close to being a lot better.

Had to be a Polluted Delta, Misty Rainforest, Scalding Tarn or Wasteland you traded?

Regardless, not a bad return on $4

Ugh, That's the absolute worst feeling, seeing another guy who got there before you.. even worse if you know he's a reseller.  Sometimes it's even worse if you let your imagination go wild - a few years ago I was at a yard sale, some old lady had a rubbermaid tote with nothing but 3 copies of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt with a "games: 25 cents" sign.  She said just a few minutes ago some guy came and "bought a whole mess of them" agh, not only did I miss a probably big NES lot, but I'll never know what games were in there

Stopped at Goodwill today and found a loose copy (box, no manual) of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for Gamecube for $3.  They had a handful of other stuff, but that was really the only thing worth grabbing.  I haven't tested it yet.  I still need the first Paper Mario game too.  Looks fun though!

Just snagged this for $20 today which is a steal for this in such great shape.

wonder how many variations of this shelf were made as there are at least 3 different pics online of this.  A couple with the ghetto Mario/Nintendo logo in different sizes and places. Mine has no Mario at all on it which is kind of weird. Seems like it was never there as there is no discoloration or anything.

Wow man, you really lucked out. That stand is in amazing condition. Every stand I've seen for sale has been in a beat up, neglected state.

Saw a Shadowgate Hint Book at my buddy's store today. Asked about it. He said, "do you want it?"

I of course said yes, he gave it to me.

A little late, but here is my swag haul from PAX East 2016. The games I found at a vendor booth with price stickers for some games a few months behind current prices. I grabbed them for all for about maybe $40 cheaper overall than the combined ebay average price. You can't hope for anything better at a con.

Picked up a copy of "Goal Storm '97" for under $6.50 shipped from a Goodwill eBay account. Must've mispriced that one as a random sports game. When I bought it now there was no pic but for the price it was worth the risk. It showed up today. F'ing mint dude. F'ing mint.

Overwatch CE came in the mail a few days ago; it is quite beautiful. The statue is heavy-duty, as is the outside box and whatnot.
