That said, Rachet & Clank for PS2 is saying $16.44 for CIB, but I think like $6 is more accurate.

I took a look at the data and we did have 1 rogue listing that made its way into the data that was for Ratchet & Clank 1 & 2. I added an ignore on any listing that has 2 in it so that this doesn't happen again. Regardless, it only dropped the price to $12.19 and based on what I have seen from sold listings on the black label version of this, I feel this is about right.

Thank you for letting me know about the price though as I would not have noticed it otherwise. Be sure to let me know if you see anything else that appears to be off as I'm always trying to find ways to improve the data as we did with R&C. :-)

And Japanese games as well!

At this point, the only thing really holding me back from doing either is time. Currently, I am the only person maintaining the NTSC site and adding another region to my plate, along with the collection tracker, would just be too much.

If anyone is interested in helping out in getting either started and maintaining the data, I would have no problem providing the platform to make either of these happen. Wouldn't require any knowledge of programming, just video games :-P.

My man Hogie! really knocked it out of the park with this one. I love the way it automatically populates the name of the game. It's extremely fast and reliable. Really giving price charting a run for there money.

I regret to say, it has not been fixed yet. When I sat down to address this a few weeks ago, I was not happy with the results. Rather than simply hack something together, I came up with a different solution that will be a bit more involved. In the end, I believe this change will really help improve the quality of the site for not only the TG-16/CD but for a number of platforms.

I actually just got back from a week long family vacation about an hour ago so I am fresh and ready to get after some of these issues that still need to be fixed :-P. I'm hoping to have an initial fix out for this by the end of next week along with a few others like an export feature and a currency converter.

Sure! So far I really love it. My only real complaint is that & and 'and' aren't equated in the Search. Excellent tool so far, thank you!

Any one else having problems with the collection tracker site not loading today? Other than that I absolutely love the tracker.

I took a look and it's not loading for me either. I've sent a message to Hogie so hopefully he can take a look soon.

Just wanted to throw out the suggestion of a way to share a link to a collection that displays a read only version of ones collection. I have a bunch of friends who are always keeping an eye out for games and boxes I don't have and it'd be nice if they could just have a read only version of my collection page.

The site is amazing! There is a weird issue with some of the images not showing up (not the ones that say there is no image).. PS2 seems to have the biggest issue, with almost every game alphabetically after SD Gundam Force having a broken link...

I took a quick look through my collection and it was a broken link for the images for these games:

Game Boy: Donkey Kong Land 2, Dr. Mario, Super R.C. Pro Am
GBA: Mario Vs Donkey Kong, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3
GBC: Super Mario Bros. Deluxe
GameCube: Super Smash Bros. Melee, WarioWare Inc.: Mega Party Game$!
3DS: Puzzle & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition
PS2: Capcom Classic Collection, Capcom Classics Vol 2, Mega Man X8, (tons of games that start with letters S-Z)
PS3: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011
Sega CD: Amazing Spider-Man Vs. The Kingpin
Wii: New Super Mario Bros. Wii
X360: L.A. Noire, WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2007, WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008

Is this an issue on my end or an issue on the database side?

Hey, I've checked the site and I can confirm that this is on the database end. FYI right now it might take a bit to get to these but we'll make note of it for sure. I'll let Hogie know so he can take a look when he gets the chance.

I can't wait to try this out. I did start on the N64 side of things. Sorry if this has already been asked and answered, but why not track Greatest Hits versions of games? For example, I have the regular and greatest hits release of 1080 Snowboarding. Is this just because basically there isn't much of a difference in price? For collection purposes, would you recommend just adding the regular listing of 1080 Snowboarding twice?

Thanks and I'm really excited to try this!

Holy hell, I stumbled on the site randomly and have been using it a bit. I kinda like it. Didn't know it was Hogie doing it. Great job man!

But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."

Thanks for the suggestion man! You are in luck because this exact feature is already in the plans :-). Users will have the ability to make their personal page private if they would like as well. A for sale and want list will be included as well. I'll see if I can get a text version of this out later this week. It may not be perfect visually but will give you the ability to share your info with others in the meantime while some more rigorous code gets developed.

This is an issue with the way that the image names are being formatted. I thought that I had fixed this issue but obviously I didn't :-P. Basically if you take a look at all of these games, they all have a "Period" in the title. That dang period is what is causing all of the problems with the images.... I'll try to get it fixed later in the week.

You basically nailed it. Before the collection tracker, I wasn't very concerned with adding in the players choice version of the N64 games as they rarely get listed as such on ebay which makes it extremely difficult to track (Not impossible, but difficult). I'll see what I can do about getting these added in since it is one of the last Nintendo Consoles that I still need to add "players choice" versions for. If you are impatient, the other option would be to add the game twice and use the "Variant Label" option in the "Game Edit" popup on the collection tracker.

Hey Hogie!

Awesome news on the collection sharing. Any word yet on a visual aid on the game pic or collection list for games that have been played and completed without having to click on the individual game?

It's kinda stagnating.  Been out of work for a couple years on medical, and now my government assistance got cancelled despite the doctor saying not to work yet.  So now I'm looking for work against doctors' advice because, well, I can't afford to live without some sort of income.  I've sold a few items out of the collection (not the NES though), and added a few others when funds allow.  Lately I've been focussing on getting it all listed up and tracked somewhere.  I'm probably gonna stick with RFGen for that purpose for the time being, since GVN doesn't track everything (yet...not sure when/if the scope of the site is going to be expanded), but I love being able to say "this is what my stuff is worth, more or less."  I also like that it gives values for orphan manuals and boxes and factors those into the values...puts your site ahead of Pricecharting in my books just based on that alone.  I also like how user-friendly it is.  The only real complaint I have is that deleting items from your collection isn't intuitive (it'd be nice just to have a delete button or something), but I'm sure things like that will be addressed in time, seeing as it's still a beta    Great work man

This is really tiny but you have a game for N64 listed as "Fighter's Destiny 2" when the game is actually called "Fighter Destiny 2". It's really dumb that they changed the name for the sequel to drop off the S but I figured I'd let you know in case you didn't realize that.

Some games I added, I don't have the option to remove them. "Remove Last Add" does not show up under the "Add Again" button. Is this a glitch or is there an option I am missing? Further, is there a way to delete a whole collection at once?

Here's an idea - perhaps in the "Game Edit" window, along with the "My Value" and "Price Paid" fields, maybe you could add "Date Purchased" or something? I think it would be neat to be able to add the dates that I acquired each game and sort my collection by how long I've had each game. You could also take that data and make a progress chart of sorts that could have dates on the x-axis and # of games on the y-axis. It would be a visualization of your collection's progress.

Also, it would be nice to be able to filter your collection based on what you have or don't have, like the NA tracker. So you could click "Show only games that I am missing the cart for" and it would filter accordingly.

Loving this site so far! Really clean design and super easy to use.

Mines been stagnating as well. To many bills these days and not enough income :-P. Good to hear you haven't gotten rid of any of the NES stuff. Glad to know that my old Menace Beach is still in good hands :-).

As far as the collection tracker goes, I'm not sure how deep I will be going with variants (Which is what I assume you are alluding to). Basically, if a variant will command a higher premium, I will add it to GVN to be tracked which will make it available in the collection tracker. Outside of that, I offer the ability for users to add their own variant tags to games for tracking purposes.

Deleting items has been a complaint from others as well. Funny thing is I initially had the functionality on the collection page for each game but decided to remove it before release. I was worried that it would be to easy for someone to accidentally delete a game which would also delete any notes or personal values that would be associated with it. I have a few ideas to combat this though so at this time I do plan to add it back in (With some safeguards).

No issue is to small. I will fix the spelling issue as soon as I am done writing this :-).

Just in case this was still a concern. You can currently delete a game from your collection by going to the Collection Page that the game belongs to, Click on the game, then click the edit button. There you will find the delete button.

As stated above to Wiz. A more accessible delete button will be added in soon.

While on the Add Games page, you can undo a "Game Add" only while on the same page that you added the game from.

Hopefully, that helps :-)
