It seems like most peoples scanners can adequately handle non-flat items like carts and pcbs without blurring the shit out of anything not directly on the surface of the glass. Over the years, I've used 3 different scanners and none of them work at all in this respect. I'm looking to buy a stand-alone scanner that can handle this stuff, I want to know what others have been using!

My scanner is pretty old and prob on its last leg if I had to guess. With all the scans I have done for NA and a few other sites it has gotten its use. It is a HP ScanJet 5370C.
