As far as I knew it was just available for purchase online but I've never been to the store in NYC so I'm sure that is also possible.

Yeah, it was definitely sold in the NYC store as well as online.

Isn't there also a Metroid Prime/Echoes combo game as well?
Edit: Ah, I didn't see picture the first time through. It seems you own it

I've always wanted this one in my Resident Evil collection....

I mentioned earlier I've already had a few of these come in over the years and never thought much about it. Well, I got another one this morning. Least now i know better.

After hearing how rare some say it is, I have to wonder if I've really seen 4-5 different copies, or if I've just had it recycled in that many times.

To bring up an old post, I just purchased this and found a little more info about it. From what I understand this bundle was part of Best Buy's Thanksgiving Day Black Friday sale. If it's like most Black Friday specials it would make it fairly rare (the Zelda DSi and Zelda 3DS for example). I'm going to do some more digging and see what else I can find

A Metroid/Zelda combo just went for around $185 shipped in an open auction. The rare GC titles keep climbing.

Does anyone still have the 2005 Best Buy Black Friday ad? I looked online and couldn't find it.

I wonder if it is archieved at fatwallet or cheapassgamer. Is anyone here a member at either spot with access to PDFs?

I've found this game twice, once in a pawn shop in Wisconsin, and another time at a gamestop (it only had wind waker, no metroid prime). I believe that this game is the most uncommon game, as I have had at least 5 Phantasy Star's I & II, and a few pokemon box, games. I actually have about 5 master quest/wind waker bundles right now (I sold the wind wakers, and the master quests this last month for an outrageous price), so I guess I am not in the hunt for disc only copies of those games, lol. But yeah, I am a big collector, and I would say that this game is the rarest.

I couldn't find the actual ad but I did find a link to a 2005 Black Friday message board that listed the Gamecube holiday bundle for $99

I know for sure I bought mine at Best Buy. It still has a price sticker and I have the reciept.

It may have been available at Walmart as well but I'm not sure this link is proof of that.

Not sure, but I'm having fun digging around, hopefully I stumble into the actual ad.

Pretty sure there is no question as to the most expensive GameCube game. This is the first one to pop-up in a while in that was 100% complete and in good condition. I was watching it, expecting to go $150-$175 and I was going to grab it. Needless to say, it soared out of my price range.

Edit: It was Pokemon Box and it went for $250+ in open auction

That was the one I actually purchased.  I think I overpaid just a touch, but considering it was the only one I had seen pop up in a while besides the guy that is trying to sell the sealed one for $3000, I thought I had better jump on it..

Got this in the mail yesterday...overall happy with it. Seller could have mentioned a couple places in the plastic but it'll look nice in the collection
