What is funny about this is: he's not a great ebayer.... but he's not even a great thief! He's too stupid to make a listing that looks real... maybe he's a kid and he's not aware that the internet was not advanced enough to allow online shopping back in 1995. Damn I hate stupid people!

Isnt there kinda rule of thumb that is someone "screams" out (in this case writing with big letters) that it isnt a scam, then it is most likely a scam?

Also, did Walmart.com really have an online store back in 1995?

We talked about this earlier in this thread. Check out the link Paul posted. Pretty cool.

I would say that yes sometime in 95 they did.

Walmart doesn't mess around. If they had a site up in Feb they were for sure taking orders by year end.

Walmart became the biggest and best in several ways. One of which was to streamline the entire distribution center within its network. They are a very forward looking company. Sam Walton (no longer here) would fly over cities in his private plane looking at how cities were growing and building not where the cities were but where they would be in the future.

The sealed copies part is out of the question. Everything else is possible. Doesn't mean it happened but I think it is possible.

We here on NintendoAge often fail to draw a distinction between "highly unlikely" and "impossible."

Someone should buy this for sure. Besides, he says in his description if you ain't satisfied, you can send it back. No brainer.

Haha, good catch and huge props for a T206 mention.  For those who don't know, the T206 set is the "grail" set of all baseball card sets, and Planks is probably one of the 3 or 4 most difficult.  Not sure what it books at, but probably much more than many of us make in an entire year.  The Wagner is a solid $2,000,000+.

Why bother? Almost certain that he's not going to send anything and you'll have to file with Paypal to get your money back.

Selling 10 sealed Earthbounds for $450 a pop seem like a decent deal if it was legitimate. Someone should offer to pick the items up at the storage unit after they "Buy It Now" and let everyone else know that they exist.
