While browsing the images of posters on this site, I found this rad poster:



Ok, now I know it's no surprise that you could mail off to order specialty items because this type of stuff was common back then.  However, I'd not really thought about this until now.

So, do any of you guys own any of this material, or other stuff from the early-to-mid 90s that's from Squaresoft, but you had to specifically call in, or write in to obtain?

I'm especially interested in the US soundtracks provided above.  If anyone has any of this stuff, you mind posting some high-quality images and mentioning where you managed to get this stuff?  I imagine not much of this swag comes around and since I'll likely never get to own any of this, I can at least ask to gawk at other peoples collections.

I'd just about kill for that FF3 hat and/or watch. Just sayin'.

If I happened to find that hat at garage sale (or even the shirts) I'd be terribly torn inside.  Do I keep it in the best condition or do I wear it.  I mean, this stuff is rare, but I'd totally be the Dad rocking the original FF III hat.  And that "No Wimps" shirt!  It's just great!
 

I didn't order my Kefka's Domain way back when, but I do remember borrowing this from a fellow classmate back when "burning cd's" was popular  

Interesting.  I was aware of the "Kefka's Domain" soundtrack but the poster has it simply named "Final Fntasy III". I wonder if there are any versions of the OST out there like that, or if that was a one-off prototype cover.

I've seen the FF3 "poster" before, #SQ106. However it's a thick cardboard, not just a thin sheet poster as the ad would imply. Double sided too.

I have the middle tshirt with the monsters vs mog. I still wear it occasionally, I'm sure some will consider it blasphemy.

Still have that poster with my CIB copy with reg card. Still love seeing this stuff  

They had an amazing 5 part newsletter available as well during this time.... they are incredibly hard to come by.  The first issue just sold last week for over a bill by itself!  (I need the fifth one pictured if anyone looking at this has it, PM ME NOW!   )

I don't even remember any of this, then again I wasn't huge into RPGs at this point yet. All I got from Square was the Final Fantasy 7 vhs tape.

Sadly it's long gone. I never thought of keeping it and I hate myself for it. I found it on youtube though so at least i got that. I really wish i hadn't given my preorder Cloud tshirt to someone. It was yellowing from age but still I'd had it for all these years.

I bought and sold all of my stuff, off and on, from my childhood.

I'm recollecting my childhood now but the only piece that I still have is a VHS tape for the SEGA Saturn. I think the only reason why I held on to that is because I don't throw stuff away, but after viewing it a few times, it was useless so I threw it in the bottom of a steamer trunk for years.

So, I kind of have an affection for these old school promo VHS tapes that came when you registered your games with companies.

Actually, I think I saw this the first time this guy posted this item, but it's been relisted multiple time.  In my mind, he was only asking around $500-600, but apparently I'm way off.

Ultimately, you're paying a high premium to get what I think was a poster that came with Secret of Mana, just without the folds.  Granted, one in this condition is super rare but..., yeah I'll pass.
