Oh, and when I meant 30 lives, it means 29 on the board cause 0 count, which is frequent.
You got a badass score yourself, I thought Dr. Robbie would have been the main rival here.
Congrats!
With that score, you must have beat the game two times. Do you have a special strategy for the ending sequence? I found a way to do it with minimum effort, I do about 80% of the sequence without moving in a particular place.
EDIT: I tested it out of curiosity, and yes, there's a delay between the moment you die and the moment when the pods bar reset. It reset immediately once the new ship appears on the screen, and I pressed on start before the new ship appears. It also means that I did not finish 'ironically' with 30 lives, but with 29.
Ah, gotcha! I kinda figured it would be something like that. Thanks for clearing that up. Anyways, that was an awesome score you got, dude!
Yep, I was in my 3rd time through the game. In the part with the Pillars at the end, I'm pretty sure we both use the same strategy! I just fly far enough up the screen that the pillars don't get me, and yeah, you only need to move 3 or 4 times.
Thanks for the kudos everyone! Nice work Dr. Robbie, I thought I would have this one in the bag for sure too. I guess I wasn't the only one!
Congrats to everybody that played.
