Got my first NES proto today. I got Jimmy Connor's Tennis from a fellow on ebay from Spain. It is for PAL region. I got it as a board only, no shell. After doing a code compare, it is the same as the retail version.

Yeah. I thought that looked familiar. I remember that thread after skimming it.

Ok, let's see if uploading from my phone works. I'm pretty confident most of these came from Mark and Beagle. This is my first post in a few years I think.

Very cool! Thanks for coming back to share. Would you mind listing what you posted? I can’t read all of the labels. Also pictures of the PCBs are required for this list.

Magic Darts, Bad News Baseball, War of Wheels, Bases Loaded 2, Bases Loaded 3 all came from Mark/Beagle via NA or eBay.

Tecmo Super Bowl, The Immortal and Freedom Force came from eBay.

The other copy of Bad News Baseball was a NA transaction I believe.

I got you half added. I am having a hard time figuring out which pictures go with which titles. If you spell it out for me, I will add you to the pictures too. Sorry it took so long, life has been kicking my but.

It's my pleasure. It's an excellent game that's been one of my favorites since I was a kid. You should grab a copy if you can. I got a chance to pick this up and I just couldn't turn it down.

Purchased rlh's proto of one-on-one. Here are updated photos.

My son... gives me Helpful Nintendo Hints that are far too complex for the adult mind to comprehend. Here's a verbatim example: "OK, there's Ganon and miniature Ganon and there's these things like jelly beans and the miniature Ganon is more powerfuller, because when you touch him the flying eagles come down and the octopus shoots red rocks and the swamp takes longer." And the hell of it is, I know he's right. - Dave Barry

Did you happen to dump them to see if they contain a working build?

I can confirm that this should be an NES proto, but we won't know unless/until someone dumps it.  It's definitely one-on-one and legit, but after discussions we had in the auction post with others, this could be the arcade roms.  I'm not trying to take anything away from these.  I still think they are cool, but I just got rid of them because all they've done is sit in my desk drawer since the time I'd acquired them and my hope was that if these things keep floating around, maybe one day someone will dump them.

The lead post asks to update if we sell a prototype. I'm posting today that I'll be finding new homes for the prototypes I've obtained. While it's been fun to have them, I haven't had the time to do what I wanted to do with them and don't foresee that changing any time soon, so best to move on and let someone else, especially as I streamline my gaming archive back to it's original intent.

Please remove my entry from the main post, and thank you to all who inboxed me about this stuff when I got them. I love the passion here.
