I took a little break from my AVS, but am now back in the mood to playing this thing non stop  . Just wondering if we can expect a new firmware with some new features soon.

I know that they are working on a few more fixes.

Not sure what extra features would be added or are even proposed yet.

I would like to know this as well.  There are too many bugs on the current fw.

Yeah, I experienced a bug on 1.20 where the top and bottom of the screen would crop out and all I could see was the middle part of the screen (in game and in the AVS home menu). The home AVS menu would do some other glitch as well. I reverted back to 1.10 and haven't had any issues since. I hated to do it cause I really like the unsaturated palette, so hopefully the next firmware fixes those issues.

I'd also like to see the WaveBeam palette that someone posted on here. That looks really good.

Did you try any of the other beta firmwares? I found B6, other than Xexyz, to be pretty bug free. And it has the pallettes.

Nah, I haven't.

I'll give it a go then and see how it does. I definitely miss that palette option (unsaturated specifically).

Unsaturated is the bomb.

The 1.20b8 firmware crashes on Abadox, so I don't use it. They did say they were aware of the bugs submitted and are working on them, but it may take a bit.

Lol, no doubt! I'm feeling that WaveBeam palette too (if we can get it, ha)

Do you have a link to B6? The firmware thread only has B7 and B8 and it doesn't like like it's on AVS page.

No problem.

I'm hoping for improved future firmware, too.

I have that issue too.  I also tried a few of the beta fw but there all buggy as well.  Please who ever does AVS firmware, please, for god sakes fix these issues.

Yeah, hopefully the issues will be ironed out soon.

So far so good on the B6 firmware though. I have not had any issues after playing pretty much all day yesterday. Keeping fingers crossed.

On 1.20 it started pretty much buggy right out of the gate. The AVS icons would be like X-ray looking (I guess is the best way to describe it) sometimes and then the cropping out of the top and bottom of the screen.

Cool. I've stuck with B6 as well.

If you find any bugs, shoot them over to [email protected] as they can log them and see the patterns.

I see firmware v1.30b2.bin is up for download on the AVS console page. I see Interpolation has been added. Have other issues been fixed as well? I haven't install it yet.  Hope to see the everdrive N8 crop issue fixed?

Xexyz appears to be fixed. That was plaguing me for a long time.

Am getting a possible audio pop on the higher frequencies. Not sure if that is my imagination, though.

It might not be. It is still a beta so you could be having that issue.

I dunno, I thought Spy Hunter had an audio quirk and it turned out to be me not knowing what the game sounded like.

The pop is VERY faint. I think I can mess with some eq settings to minimize it. The fact that I can play Xexyz past the first boss without locking up is well worth the wait.

I just went ahead reverted back to 1.20b6. I couldn't tell a difference with interpolation turned on. And there is a bug where you can have it turned off and then it will turn itself back on. I'll try the next beta once it comes out.
