Not quite a perfect run.  I had two of those, that I inexplicably choked away on the fire of 6-2.  I'm terrible when the nerves hit me.




 

Daaaaaamn. I figured you had a better score up your sleeve. I should have kept going after I beat it yesterday, and tried to lower my score. I like the symmetry of 40,000 though

i figured 38-37 might be perfect. I always had to kill that one guy in 3-2 after the gang fight. 

Also so my score is high because I had to repeat a gang fight
 

I admit I didn't try very hard this contest. I posted that score on Tuesday. But still good enough for 5th place, only one less point than skinnygrinny. I'm happy with that.

Damn I hate seeing sandafloor win. #haterade

The game is basically high school vector math. It is too damn easy.

Don't worry sandafloor, next game up for Kobra Kai is road blasters. Shooter icon means more to me than 2nd overall. 

I only tried to play this week (I forgot I had tied 2nd back up and now I'm actually pretty pissed I slacked off on this one all week) to knock you off another icon, but, looks like you got this one in the bag! Nice job btw. Does this mean..... Fuuuuck no! Your still sandafloor!!!!   
 

I kind of expected you to break out pen and paper, and work this game out like you did with Golf.

I just played for the first time ever and got around 23k.  

Right there with you.  I tried harder with Rollergames than the previous 4 games combined because I want that beat em up award lol

 

I have only put an effort at the first 1/3rd of the game. That score can be easily beaten if someone puts effort on keeping their ratio high for a few stages more than I did.  
 

Heh, 3rd place. I'll take it! I tried to give it another few runs last night, but something was up and I just could not get past 6-2 without dying a ton(and having to fight the Maniacs over again, increasing my score). I think it's because I was trying to use the California Kid(Rockers), instead of Icebox(T-Birds) like I did before. Icebox moving so slowly makes it a little easier to navigate those conveyor belts. I was trying to rush through with the Rockers guy and slid off every time.

I'm happy with how much I've gotten better at this game; when I beat it for the NA yearly NES contest a few times, I always had to use continues before getting to stage 6. Now I can get to 6-2 without dying(and proceed to die many times there).

Just for fun, you guys should read up on Rollergames a bit. I loved watching the show as a kid, really sad they only shot one season. The characters you play as in the game were based on real people, and so were the bosses(not the final boss).

wow, 7th place and I didn't even get past 3-2  

Gotta say, 3-2 is where this game really started getting under my skin. That platforming... *shutters*. This is one I'm going to keep by the NES, as I'd like to see further levels. Didn't have a chance to do 'continue' runs and practice, that's likely my next step.

I used Hot Flash on level 6. With her speed you could jump over some of the belts. It took practice but once a pattern was established you could do it every time to make the level way easier

Hey man, they played Wizards & Warriors on James and Mike Mondays. The first one looks like it might be fun.

The cover art is hilariously misleading. Your guy is more like Arthur from Ghosts n Goblins not Conan the Barbarian.
