Yesterday at the Flea market with some negotiations and pestering i was able through different vendors to get the 11 games in the attatched image for a grand total of $20.
Ok so today i am VERY happy, i stopped at a local store by my old college and they had some rare/uncommon games at very great prices. I was pretty pumped when i updated my spreadsheet in excel to say the least. Games are in the attatched picture below but i paid the following.
Extra Innings $3
F1-ROC II Race of Champions $3
Wizard of Oz $7
Battle Grand Prix $2
So this weekend was alright, found 19 games over all and price wise i saved some decent money game hunting. The three CIB were nice and Dino City was a good part of a deal so over all not a bad weekend.
So a rather awesome update, not a money steal just some awesome games. I finally graduated college and i had saved up since january for a couple big items to give myself a bit of a grad present. Let me know if anything looks wrong i was pretty anal about it myself but they look absolutely beautiful.
Seeing that MMx3 makes me sad < <.... I often ponder where my original cart is? If it's not hiding at my mothers house who must have it these days > >. The only thing I have left of it is the memory of unboxing that bad boy on christmas.
So yesterday at the flea market i found a couple un-common games and a variety of other things with CIB sports titles. I spent $75 on the 16 games but $25 of that was spent on Flintstones Treasure of Sierra Madrock. so on the other 15 i spent about 3.33 per game and with the CIB's and the 3 solid non sports titles (prince of persia 2, KI and MK3) it was a pretty solid day. The one guy gave me the CIB george foreman for $2 because of the tear on the front, the cart is perfect.
Hey it sure has been awhile eh? Well today I am definitely glad to be back from my little break from collecting because I got something i've always wanted for when I get a SNES game room set up. Found this at my local game store and just told the guy yeah that's mine. No Yellowing, everything works, i couldn't be happier. There are some stickers and tape on there thanks to Walmart back in the day, i'm kind of afraid to touch them in fear of ripping the box image. I'd rather have some stickers on there than some ripped exposed cardboard. But if you guys have any tips let me know, I actually don't mind the walmart add on the front there are a few on the sides that I don't like. But there it is my CIB SNES, it joines my sealed SNES controller as my favorite show pieces. Happy Thanksgiving NA!
It sure has been awhile, adult life has taken over in many ways but today I am back to share the rarest find of my collection to date. At a game store a bit away from my house I came across a TMNT IV Turtles in Time Not for Resale cart in the wild!
Ok so today I have some auctions I won on eBay a few nights ago. A local store by me posted on their Facebook page that they had a bunch of boxes and some with manuals and inserts up for auction so I checked it out.
At the end of the night I had won four of the auctions they had. I won the very crisp Mega Man X with black and white manual for $38, Super Bomberman 2 box and manual for $17.16, Kirby’s Dreamcourse box and manual for $13.50 and DKC box and manual for $19.50. The condition of the boxes are insane and the manuals are alright to boot so for $88 I did pretty well!
