I don't recall NA using this layout until just now, perhaps I haven't noticed it until today. But when you go to create a new topic (as I am doing right now), a window opens up within the current tab of the browser. There is an "X" at right of the pop open window to close the box out or you can post the topic. If you accidentally click outside of the box on the other part of the screen, it not only closes the box, but it erases all your work. I am used to the reply feature in a thread where you can minimize the box and it operates as its own window. I was making a new thread earlier in the forum and needed to add an url and when I click the window in an attempt to minimize the new topic box, it closed it out and erased the text. Perhaps there could be a "Are you sure" option if the new format is not going to make this a unique window in the browser. Just food for thought.
