The small black boxes are wicked awesome . I'd like to get them all but most of them are quite hard to get so it will be a rough task. Also those two were my first two

x2! I love these too. I got a small box MTPO, Cobra Triangle and Wild Gunman!

From the same site I got the NES boxed games from I ordered some SNES games for really nice prices. All except one of them were loose but the one that was boxed and complete was amazing.
It was Bubsy 2 PAL version and I only paid 7,99€ for it. My Pal pals (hehe) know how hard to find that game is complete.

Also from another online store I got a CIB Xardion for the SNES for 19,99€ which isn't bad. One of the NTSC exclusives I really wanted and it was good price .

Hit the flea markets for the first time this year and it started off really slow. In the end I was able to find some nice deals though. Everything in the picture except for the PSP game I got for a total of 22€ which isn't bad considering that the first FEAR is actually worth almost half that . Also some N64 titles to fill in those gaps.
Then I got to a booth with a lot of PS2 games and some for other systems. At first I was really excited because they weren't individually priced but I wasn't able to find anything good really. They had a whole box of PS1 titles and I kid you not there were at least 12 copies of Gran Turismo 1. Then I got to the PSP games and actually found some good titles. I passed on Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier because it was missing the manual but was able to snatch up Tales of Eternia for 5€. Sweet deal right there

Knocked another Videopac title off the list. Somebody put up a lot of ten games on eBay for 49€ + shipping and this game was included. I offered 25€ + shipping just for that game and he countered with 40€ + shipping for the lot and I just accepted. Definitely a good decision because not only can I cross off another game but I also got upgrades for five games I already had including Q Bert and Super Cobra which were in near perfect condition. Also Super Cobra included the manual which I was missing. Of the games I own now I'm only missing three boxes and five manuals.
Down to the last nine cartridges and one of them is coming in the mail and I already made a deal for one of the Top 3 items which I will get in about two weeks

GB boxes is something that is very hard to collect in every part of the world . I still have to get ten games to put in those boxes.
It's getting kinda dry lately. I haven't found anything on the local classifieds for over two months now

About two weeks ago a fairly large TurboGrafx lot came up on eBay. It had the PAL system and quite a few games and accessories. The starting bid was 100€. Now I already had the system and some of the games but knowing that the chance of getting so many games at once again are very low I put it on the watch list anyway. Normally I don't buy system and game lots on eBay if I already have the system but with the TurboGrafx I can make an exception. A few hours before the auction ended I put in a bid of 170€ which was the absolute max I was willing to spend because I already bought a pretty expensive a few days earlier and didn't want to spend that much money this early in the month. I was shocked when I came back to see that I won the auction for only 130€. Super sweet. The system (which is complete like all PAL TurboGrafx systems) and the games I already had will go back on eBay and they'll probably net me 100€ back easily.
Assuming I get those 100€ back I got the following for only 30€:
- Condition upgrade for my complete Takin' It to the Hoop
- Unsealed copies of Davis Cup Tennis and TV Sports Basketball to replace my sealed ones (which I don't care for)
- A TurboGrafx book with informations about the system
- All the stuff pictured in this picture

The TurboPad box and the box for Falcon are a little crushed but I can't complain for the price. The guy I bought the lot from got all these games sealed originally from german sellers which still have quite a few sealed copies of these. Not of too many other games though. If I'd buy just the four complete games sealed from the sellers that have them I'd have to spend at least 80€. So happy to add some new games to my TurboGrafx collection. I'm at 17 games now which is respectable I think

Since I got that N64 lot with the CIB smoke grey system three months ago I haven't found anything at my local classifieds at all. Then yesterday two listings come up that are good. I message both. I manage to get both of them today. Three months of nothing and then two amazing lots on a single day only about 80 minutes from each other.
Let's start with the lot I picked up first. It's a N64 lot that was listed with a price of 50€ which was an amazing deal. However I knew the seller already received a lot of mails because the listing was already about a half hour old. After picking up quite a bit of stuff from local classifieds I know that people that get bombarded with mails want to get rid of their stuff even faster. So what I did was I sent the seller a mail offering 75€ for everything and said I'd pick it up immediately (the listing made me think he lived closeby). Luckily he messaged me back saying I could get it early today but he lived farther away than the listing stated. Because the trip I had to take ended up being like 40 minutes longer we settled on 70€.
Happy as fuck I went on my way to pick up the lot. When I arrived the first thing the guy (very nice dude by the way) said was: "Did you read the mail I sent you 40 minutes ago?" At first I was very afraid but he just had some problems getting the system to work consistently. To me that's not a problem really. Those systems are just a little temperamental at times . After having a small conversation about the games and packing everything up he said that since the system wasn't working smoothly the 50€ he was originally asking would be good enough. Super awesome. So here is what I got for a total of 50€...

Awww yiss . The picture he had in the listing didn't have the boxed Rumble Pak, all the Memory Paks and the manuals for the lose carts in it so those were a great bonus. The only small bummer is that none of the boxes have inlays. Other than that I'm really satisfied. Very happy to finally have both the Zeldas in my N64 collection. I always held off buying them online because I knew they're so common I'll find them eventually without paying a ridiculous amount. Well here they are finally . Other than those two I had all the cartridges. However I didn't have any of the manuals and the three boxed games I only had lose so those are upgrades. I also didn't have a red controller yet and the grey and the blue one have very nice joysticks so they'll replace my current controllers. The big thing in this lot is definitely the complete Majora's Mask. That beast is going for around 40€ now. I also love the box art for that game. Far better than the NTSC version in my opinion . One of the better deals I had since I started collecting for sure.

But wait! There still is the second lot that I picked up about one and a half hour later for an incredible 35€. For this one I'll just let the picture do the talking....

PS: The icing on the cake: All Game Boys have their battery covers as well as the Pokemon Pinball

Today was the second day of Gamefest here in Berlin. There was a nice little retro video game sale going on. One giant vendor and two smaller ones. Before I talk about everything here's the picture of all the stuff I got.

Luckily me and a fellow NA member were pretty much there as soon as it started. Thanks again for giving me the ride . So I started to dig through stuff and sadly pretty much all the NES and SNES games were pretty darn expensive. I saw somebody picking up a lose copy of Banana Prince for 40€ which probably was the only NES game priced below retail. Even though I didn't get any SNES and NES games except for one it was nice seeing some of those rare gems and touching them tihi. They had the complete NES Mega Man set in PAL B all CIB + a CIB Mega Man 6, CIB Hagane and of course those uncommon classics such as FF2+3, Chrono Trigger and some other cool things.
Now for the pick-ups. The first thing I did was going through some of the lose N64 cartridges hoping to fill a gap or two in my collection. The first title I spotted that I was sure I'd get was Scooby-Doo which was priced at 8€. Not bad. I go through the rest of the games and BOOM. First strike of the day. Found a copy of San Francisco Rush 2049 marked at only 10€! This is one of those games that has the same four BIN's on eBay for half a year and no auctions ever. Lowest BIN on ebay.de at the moment is 39,99€ so I definitely picked that one up. Glad to find one of the rares I needed for a deal . Then I got to the lose Game Boy games that didn't have price tags. I wanted to start to go through them and I literally pull the first game out and I see the game behind it is Stop That Mother***king Roach! So I get really nervous and ask how much it is. He says it's 12€. I ended up getting a deal for Scooby-Doo, Rush 2049 and Stop That Roach! for 25€. Happy as fuck to say the least. Then I go further and don't find much of interest when some guy about my age goes in front of me because I was taking it so slow. So we get to a bin of Master System games and he is still in front of me and gets first dibs. I see him pulling out game after game and putting every single one back. When he got to the end I couldn't believe what he picked out: A boxed copy of Power Strike 2. I was just thinking: "Oh please put that back but sadly he didn't. When the vendor was moving a few metres away I asked that guy how much the Power Strike 2 was and he just grinned and showed me the price tag: 12€. Holy hell what a find. We just kinda chuckled a little together knowing the other one knew how much that game's worth (for those that don't know it's about 100€ ). I just went on and found some more N64 games. Got Tarzan and PGA European Golf Tour for 8€ each. Pretty much retail for Tarzan but PGA is definitely a more uncommon title.
I went back to go through some of the Mega Drive games I kinda just glanced over. Found a CIB Sparkster with no price tag. Asked how much and it was 10€. I wasn't exactly sure on the Mega Drive price but knew the SNES version was fairly expensive so I just took a chance on this one. When I came back home and looked it up I found out it was worth 30€. Awwww yeeah .
After that I was pretty much done with the big vendor so I took a look at one of the smaller booths. The thing that immediately caught my eye were some uncommon boxed Game Gear games. I started chatting with the seller and it turns out he was collecting Game Gear games quite hardcore and he said he was only missing 10 games from a CIB PAL set. I was in shock to say the least. PAL Game Gear CIB is ridiculous to collect. About 50 of those games are ridiculously rare meaning they show up once or twice a year or even less. He actually showed me a picture of his collection on his phone. Just beautiful stuff. I think he was a bit surprised that I actually knew stuff about Game Gear collecting because nobody really does . I ended up buying two sealed Jaguar games and a CIB Wrestlemania Steel Cage for the NES from him for 35€. I wasn't really sure if that was a good enough deal or not but it turns out that Steel Cage is actually somewhat uncommon CIB so it was alright and the Jaguar games were literally in perfect sealed condition.
Onto the other small vendor. He had a small tub with some Saturn games. Nothing really that caught my eye except for a Darius Gaiden which seemed to be the only cool game in there. I had no idea how much it was worth so when the seller said it was 45€ I just passed. It would've been a decent deal but whatever. We kept talking a little about the Saturn and I mentioned I was just starting with my Saturn and don't have much of a collection that. He just put those three games you see in the picture together for me and said 10€ for the three together. Of course I knew the titles weren't anything special but they were complete and in very nice shape so I just bought'em to fill in some Saturn titles .
After all that I went through the big vendors stuff again to make sure I didn't miss anything. When I got to the Game Boy games I found out I actually missed a lose copy of Fish Dude. No price tag, I asked how much it as: 5€. Whooooo that steal. Very pleased with all the stuff I got and the vendors were really nice. The big vendor was a really fun guy to talk to even though he said some common phrases like: "You don't find this game in this condition anymore and blabla". I guess every big seller has to advertise his stuff as best as possible but he was just nice all around. Definitely had a good time

Got myself an Intellivision collection going. Bought a bundle with a boxed system and 22 boxed complete games for 130€ shipped. Not bad. Most the games are in really nice shape and all of them come with the manual(s) and overlays. That's already 1/4 of the PAL set right there

Thx . I had to search very long to find a bundle that was good enough to jump on it. INTV stuff is pretty scarce here. If you just search for Intellivision on the german eBay you get about 70 results total. Not a whole lot at all . Occasionally I find some INTV stuff at flea markets or somewhere else but not that often.

A seller on eBay listed a bunch of N64 manuals all individually. I got almost all of them for 1€ each because he had multiple manuals for some games so whenever somebody outbid me (meaning they bid 1,50€ ) I just moved on to the next auction he had for that manual . I didn't get all the ones I wanted though because some of the harder to find ones were only listed once like Banjo Tooie and NBA In The Zone 2000. I bid over 3€ on the NBA ITZ 2000 manual but didn't get it . It's a pretty tough to find one. Oh well I ended up getting 34 manuals total. I accidentally bought a manual for Hybrid Heaven as well not realising I had it CIB . Paid 1€ for every single one except for the Duke Nukem 64 one which cost me 2,20€. There are some really cheap ones but some great ones as well. I now have 79 N64 manuals which is one third of the entire european set. Getting there with the manuals as well now .

Got two unlicensed PAL NES games from eBay today. They were pretty cheap because the guy listed them badly. Nowhere did the listings say NES so I stumbled over them by pure luck. To be fair it doesn't say NES anywhere on the cartridge and the manual lol. Anyway they arrived today and I had a little trouble getting them to work properly. I guess they are so unreliable because they made them in a way that you can play them on PAL A and PAL B consoles. I could be totally wrong with that but I got them to work eventually.
Here are the two games with their manuals and Firehawk even has the poster with it

It's been a while since I posted a new find but I think this one is worth it. Got this guy here on eBay for only 10€. I talked about people here not knowing much about obscure NTSC rarities like this before. Exactly what happened here. I probably would have won this for even less but 10€ was the starting bid . Normally I wouldn't buy this because I already have the PAL version but given it's rarity and the price I thought it was justified

Got lucky twice last weekend. First score was a lot of Sega Saturn games. 15 total for 30€ so 2€ a piece. Not bad at all.
The big game from that lot I was after was In the Hunt. One of the few Saturn titls I was actively looking for. The rest is kinda meh. Mostly common stuff you see every day. However NFL Quarterback Club 97 seems to be quite tricky to find which was a nice surprise.
Command & Conquer was missing Disc 1 but whatever that game is very common. Thunderhawk 2 and International Victory Goal I already had. The three games on the top right are missing the manuals. The other games are all complete and most of them are actually in pretty good shape. A rare thing since PAL Saturn cases are the worst you can imagine. The NTSC cases seem to be made of Titanium in comparison. The discs are also scratch free .

Second score is a very rare title for the Master System. Got quite lucky because I got it in a lot with a system and seven other games. The system and the other seven games I got have a value of maybe 40€ and I paid 80€ for the whole lot. So that's 40€ for this one game which is a pretty good bargain if you ask me. Especially since it's complete

Got another Master System package today. Finally have the model 1 so I can actually play my games now. Or do I? Sucker forgot to mention it doesn't come with an AV cable! Pissed that I have buy a replacement now.
Anyway I paid 50€ for the lot which isn't bad. After Burner, Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Power Strike are doubles and should bring most of the money back to me. Miracle World came with the manual which completed my copy. Actually all the games were with the manual with the exception of Golden Axe. A few other good titles for me to keep like Wonder Boy. Only missing Monster World now to have all four of them on the Master System. This also brings me to 97 boxed games so the 100 isn't long off .

Also lucked out at an online store. I guess some intern screwed with their system because suddenly Resident Evil 3 was only 99 cents. Bought all three they had. Easy 10€+ flips each
