This game is the first thing i ever played on nintendo, i was at jc penny in the monmouth mall and they had a M8 set up in the small electronics area and there was always a couple kids around waiting for a turn I dont remember exactly what other games were available, but i played kung fu master in the arcade and seeing how close this port looked like it, i was amazed. up to this point i had been playing donkey kong and space invaders on atari 2600. this was my first nintendo experience.

I remember playing this at a friend's house down the street before I had a NES of my own. I never had my own copy so I still played it every time I was over there. For as simple of a game as it is, we could play it nonstop for hours.

Kung Fu was also my first nes experience as it was the first nes game I ever played and got. I also first played the nes version on an m8 except it was at a Wal-Mart. I don't remember every game in the rotation, but I do remember that Ice Climber,SMB,Wild Gunman, and Baseball were in there. Prior to that I had only played Kung Fu on my 2600. Kind of funny that the last Atari game I ever got was also the first nes game I received.

Wrestlemania XII was the iconic HBK/Bret Hart ironman match for the WWF title and history will repeat itself when MY boyhood dream comes true!

Being a fan of Bret and HBK I'm well aware of that match but I needed to provide you with a sobering picture of the true outcome of Kung Fu.

I wish you well young grasshopper but even Jose won't be able to save you this time.

I thought your boyhood dream was to be a breast examiner at Hooter's?

Don't worry, when it seems like 1997 and you can't "survive" you can always run off to WCW. Oh wait, nevermind...
