Could this be the Analogue 8, hopefully an NT mini replacement? It could also be the Analogue Pocket.

It's most likely one of the two. Fingers crossed for an Nt Mini replacement.

I bet it's going to be a Gameboy. There was an article recently on RetroRGB where kevtris showed of an FPGA Gameboy on an lcd screen. Also that green font reminds me of the Gameboy screen.

I could see an FPGA portable that can also plug into your TV. Maybe it plays GB/GBC. If the price was right I would try it out. I already have a GBAconsolizer ordered and a modded GBA so it would just be to tinker with.

You're probably right, the colored font is a huge hint that I somehow missed. Looks just like the GB peasoup green.

Hopefully it is a more comfortable form factor. I find the Gameboys a little cramped. GBA and 3ds are the only ones I have enjoyed using in recent years.

I always regretted that the GB greenscale never continued on it was merely a technical limitation in displaying black & white.

Why would they make a game gear when they are working in an adapter to pot game gear games on the Mega Sg, also same with a Gameboy? I know that they have a patent for it but again why would they go that route when you can use a super Gameboy on the Super Nt.

I say it's gonna be a stripped version of the Nt mini With plastic shell and hdmi only. Majority of the people hard passed the Nt and Nt mini cause of the price.

They registered an Analogue pocket, and based on the color scheme of the tweet, it tends to lean towards the possibility of a Gameboy.

Meh, I just want my Game Gear fix. Those capacitors aren't going to fix themselves.

Everyone mentioning a cheaper Nt probably doesn't know that there's always been an alternative HDMI NES

It's not 1080p though.

Aah gotcha. Honestly does 1080p really change that much considering the graphic limitations.

My AVS looks flawless. Don't think I would be able to tell the difference tbh.

1080p vs 720p hasn't made much difference on my 4k tv. A lot of times I end up going with 720p. That's with high def NES, Super NT, and OSSC among others. Seems like a preference thing.

1080p and 720p both scale by integers into 4k.

I still don't own a 4K tv. I have a really good 1080p and so can't justify paying a lot for a 4K tv without cable content.

A 1080p TV will scale a 720p source to 1080. It might not be quite as good as a 1080p source, but most won't notice.

It's a Gameboy/GBC/GBA player that also works with adapters to play Game Gear, Neo Geo pocket, Atari Lynx, and more.

That's actually pretty cool.

Edit: You can dock it and play it on your tv too.

Gotta say, it looks good. Decent price if it plays every pre-DS handheld.

Agreed, I'm way more interested in this than I expected. The versatility is a real plus.

Wow, seems great. GBA and Atari support alone sell me, but even not having to change my Super Nt settings for Game Boy games and just using this would be nice. I wish it had a wide form factor since I'm a fan of the OG GBA style, but I'll just use it as a console.

I could see this being a bit more comfortable for me that using a GBA for those games. The added consoles are just a bonus. Loading an SD card with roms would be great once the jailbreak inevitably releases.

I have a modded GBA and other options for my TV so this doesn't seem urgent. Once it releases I may look into it. Want to know the total cost after dock and shipping.
