"When I come home from a long day in Hell, there's nothing I'd rather reach for than a fire-brewed bottle of Styx Beer. Made from the filthiest waters from our own River Styx. Styx Beer is a third more toxic than any other regular beer. The worst beer - the filthiest beer - the deadliest beer. It's Styx Beer!"

For those of you not familiar with the original song - here is a youtube of it set to an old betty boop cartoon:

There was a follow up "response" to that song by a group called the Sham-ettes (who were part of the Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs live revues).

I know this is kind of off topic given that the discussion switched to music, but... How did those knuckleheads not IMMEDIATELY recognize an ELK!? I mean...seriously!? I'm not a hunter, have never been on a hunt, etc., but immediately recognized it for what it was, as did a bunch of locals, apparently. For a nature conservation group running a bunch of camera traps, they sure seem oblivious to the fact that elk were reintroduced into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (a large chunk of which sits in Swain County) 15-20 years ago and even what they look like. (shakes head)

Need Stadium Events + Panesian titles, 6-in-1's, Menace Beach, Moon Ranger & Secret Scout to complete my licensed/unlicensed sets.

If you've got any of the above for sale, hit me up!

A friend I showed it to suspects that they're playing dumb to drum up attention for their program.  While I think that's possible, the fact that they can correctly identify a coyote by its butt alone but are totally stumped with the "not on the list" (but totally should be since it was specifically reintroduced to the region right there) elk just makes them look stupid to me and kind of unworthy of additional money, volunteers, etc., versus other groups with similar goals.  I'm all for conservation efforts, but I'd rather my time and/or money go to people appear competent, lol.
