Hello, I am new to this community, but not to the scene. I dont have quite the collection as many of you do (im jealous!) but here is a little about my history with the NES. I got my first system in about 1991 (not an early adopter for sure!) All of my friends had one at the time so I wasnt too worried. I used to have a nice starter collection of nearly 400 games, but when I moved they "mysteriously" disappeared. Anyway, I have recently started all over again, and Im up to about 115 games, 3 ROB Robots, and so far my "rarest" game is Donkey Kong Jr Math. I have about 30 boxed games and about 10 systems, with 2 in their boxes. Overall, nothing impressive, persay, but this time I am going to go all out. Im glad to find this site, and I have to say you are all a nice lot of guys! Chad

"It's always amazing to me how some of the most worthless games from a gaming perspective tend to fetch outrageous amounts of money. But then again, it could be said that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I'm curious if the high bidder of the $873.04 Stadium Events (cart-only) realizes that it's nowhere nearly as rare as about 20+ games I can think of that sell for 1/10th that amount?  At any rate, I wanted to draw attention to this trend: if people say it's rare, it must be true, and therefore it must be had at any price."
